Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

Wind Waker link has already been the Link in more games then any other Link so I doubt there will be another. Its safe to assume that the 2nd wii zelda will still be TP link however.

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

It's obvious that there has to come a second sequel to TWW, PH was almost filler like:some strange land (or rather sea) they could easily dispose of, every character from the previous part (in this case only 2) returning to exaclty how they were before PH...

There just has to be another game, which will probably also focus on a more in depth Link/Tetra relationship and the ultimate fate of Ganondorf in that time period.

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

Wow... PH really wrecked TWW up didnt it? It's pretty sad how Nintendo's Zelda games keep going down and down and down. Imagine how bad a TP sequel would be..

KDNH =/= KotRL

KDNH's soul was simply in the KotRL during TWW. Link is also seen sailing away in the KotRL at the end of TWW, although it seems "dead".

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

I liked Phantom Hourglass, a lot of people did, but I don't think they did all that they could have with the Great Sea. I just love the world and characters and since there are a couple of loose ends to tie up, I'd welcome a third game. I just don't think it's very fair to TP and MC Link, who haven't had a sequel to star in, yet.

And yeah, when you think about it, WW Link has starred in about 2.5 games. (WW, PH and the Tetra's Trackers part of Four Swords) And many have the games have used the WW style; I'd like them to change to a slightly different one for the third.

Why on Earth would you change art styles during a sequel?

That would ruin the game, it needs to look just like a graphically improved TWW.

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

A new Hyrule being found... okay, here are some cons and pros about it.

Cons:

Didn't Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule say that it wouldn't be Hyrule? Like EVER?

And besides, to find a new land they'd have to go like on a freakin' 60-hour-long journey, and that's like 4 months in real-world time! Nobody takes that long to beat a game!

It would have to be a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE island, and we've never seen anything like that on the Great Sea!

Pros:

They'd have a whole new world to live in and explore.

Sure, the chances of it being something like a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE island could be like 10%, but if the mountains are just tall enough, then it would be like 99%!

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

well i agree with having another WW sequel. PH just didnt finish the WW ending. yeah it would be a little difficult to have some sort of story with finding a new land or something but i think it could be done and it would make a pretty good game

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

I would love to see a third in the WW series. Preferably one that has them find actual land suitable for Hyrule. Small islands could be found around the larger island, where you can explore using the KoRL.

Actually I just thought of a great storyline for such a game. I might post it later

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

Another sequel to TWW would only be funny if it included the "new" Hyrule that Link and Tetra were going to find, and this new Hyrule would look completely, completely different to any other Hyrule in any other game, geographically.

But, the Zelda creators never seem to design maps with the timeline in mind, really.

Re: A Wind Waker Trilogy?

Before they do anything with Windwaker, they should do something with Ocaraina.
Make a Ds Version or a sequal on the wii.
