Name: Doseko
Game: The Legend of Zelda - Tears of Infinity Appearance: Something like this. Dungeon: Sunken Barge History: Doseko is unimaginably old, as are all the Infinites, and has been roaming the seas since the dawn of time. As with the other Infinites, he is immortal and has since gone from being peaceful to being incredibly dangerous and psychotic now that Dalen has gained control of the Astral Plane where the Infinites originated. Like before, the only way to stop his rampage is to kill him. How to Defeat: The battle with Doseko takes place on a portion of the deck of the once massive barge, the Under Din's Watch, during a massive storm. Seeing as Doseko is unimaginably large, you'll have to employ some different methods of defeating him. Some of Doseko's attacks include using one of his massive fins to smash the ship's deck, sending massive shockwaves through it. This knocks you to your feet as well as causing 1 heart of damage. (Getting hit by the actual fin itself deducts 3 hearts.) Another attack involves his roar. If you're hit directly by it, 2 hearts are deducted. (You can see the roar as a disruption.) His third attack involves physically picking the ship up and tilting it in an effort to make you fall into the raging water below. From there, numerous forms of sealife will chip away at your health and you must climb back up into the ship to continue. (You can prevent falling into the ocean by hanging on to some of the grating with the Clawshot.) If you're in one of the bottom decks, he'll thrust one of his tentacles through the windows and, with startling accuracy, he'll whip you with them. Getting hit by this deducts 1 heart. When the battle begins, you're treated to a cutscene. Link emerges on deck to discover that, while he has been mucking around in the ridiculously massive ship, a large and powerful storm has formed. He takes a few steps before the ship is lurched and he hears this roar. A moment or two passes before the massive Doseko leaps from the water behind Link, over the ship, and crashes into the water on the other side. Another moment passes before Doseko emerges from the depths and roars again. The battle music begins, and the fight commences. Considering his size, conventional methods of combat must be abandoned in favor of the unconventional. To start off, take our your Clawshot and aim for higher ground. Once you're up there, take out your Compound Bow and aim for his external lungs. Once you have a shot lined up, fire. When it hits, Doseko will roar in pain. Equip some bomb arrows and fire one into his mouth. When this happens, he will dive back under. Remain on the higher platform until he resurfaces on either side. Repeat the same strategy until he dislodges the boat and sends it drifting out to sea. Now it is time for the second battle. The nuts and bolts are pretty much the same as before, except it is now harder to aim due to the boat's movement and Doseko is a little more aggressive. Continue hammering away at his vulnerable areas until he goes down.
