Re: What would you like to see in Zelda?

Realism godammit *screws up face like cartman*
When Link swims, his clothes get wet, meaning that he slows down a bit because his clothes are soaked.
The abillity to buy food and drink that acts as potions and gives you health.
When you want to save, you find Inn's to stay in thus giving you the abillity to sleep, which I have never seen link do, minus cut scenes.
Some actuall physics, not completely realistic because I'm not looking to play Link in real life, but something like link not being able to jump of massive buildings and survive, I would really like to see flight as an option for travel.
A much much much more expansive overworld

I really can not wait untill we get the first trailer for the new zelda game, it will be like Twilight Princess all over again. Fake game shots, fake websites, fake names, fake info, wild speculation I might just shed a tear.

*Man I still have to play TP *

Re: What would you like to see in Zelda?

I would like something with the world of Twilight Princess, and the freedom and sense of exploration of Wind Waker. That has always been, to me, part of what a Zelda game is, and I have been disappointed by many of the games. There are so many places you can't reach at all, and I would enjoy trying to find out how to get to a place you can't just walk to. Instead of being inaccessible, these areas could be reached by a hidden passage, creative use of an item, etc. They might be completely pointless, but they might have a heart piece or some such item.

I also would want as much character development and depth of story as in Twilight Princess. This is part of why I love TP, because it has such a rich and detailed plot and cast. The next Zelda game should have this as well.

Re: What would you like to see in Zelda?

I would like future Zelda games to have more freedom. In other words, a bigger world to roam and explore in, from raging oceans to huge mountain ranges that take days to travel across. Also with a few small villages scattered across a massive continent of Hyrule. Something to Lord of the Rings with different colonies and races living in different and unique areas.

That is something that I would like to see in the future of a Zelda game. Twilight Princess was big, but not big enough

The guns thing isn't actually a bad idea. I mean it could replace the bow and arrow in being that it's one of those old guns that can only hold a single bullet. Thus being a "one-shot, then reload" basis. Plus being that Zelda has strong magical connotations, Link could enchant his gun to fire, ice bullets, flame bullets, shock bullets, etc.

Re: What would you like to see in Zelda?

Id like to see the ball and chain again in a 2d zelda game. I would also like a spiritual successor to MM, I realy liked being able to turn into different races and the new game could have korok, goron, zora, rito, gerudo, and shiekah forms. I would also like some extra content, most Zelda games don't have much to do after you finnish it. I also want a four swords zelda game that lets you play with people through wi-fi.

So I guess what I am describing is a 2d Zelda four swords game for the DS that you can play with other people from all around the world through the DS' Wi-Fi. In the game the items are replaced with different races to turn into. and you will be able to download more content (levels) for the game through Wii ware.

Talking A sequel to MM

I always had the idea of a new Zelda game that takes place in Termina 50 years after MM, and the new Link was born in Clock Town, and Majora's Mask was the main villain again, and the graphics would be wii upgraded versions of the N64 bit Link, but the 4 areas outside of Clock Town would be different from what they were in MM, and there would be new towns on the map, anyways Majora's Mask was stolen from the new/old salesman's(who knows, i mean he disappeared as if he was a ghost on MM) new store in Clock Town, and the person that stole it was from the tribe mentioned in MM(the last survivor) and he wanted to get back at the townspeople for killing off his tribe(of course during the story it would show how all of this happened) so he did some ritual and resurrected the evil in Majora's Mask, and he put the mask on and started recking havoc on Termina, and of course Link has to undergo yet another quest to stop Majora's Mask, save the land, and leave it because they made him a legend, the name of it would be "The Legend Of Zelda: Carnival Of Time" because that is what the entire story revolves around, the townspeople are beginning to celebrate the carnival of time(without the moon going to crash down) anyways, Link has to go to the 4 new temples across the land, get the gems that lay inside of each, take them and fight Majora's Mask on top of the Clock Tower which is higher up than what it used to be(i forgot to mention this earlier, but i would put cut scenes in my game and get voice actors to play the characters) in the battle Link beats Majora's Puppet(the guy who resurrected her) and turns into Majora's reincarnation, grabs Link and throws him over the wall of the clock tower, Link grabs a little ledge, which is cracking, he takes out his sword fast and slams it into the wall, climbs on top of it before the ledge breaks, takes out the Fierce Deity's mask(which he found at some point in his quest) puts it on and shoots back up to the top of the tower, then a little cutscene with Majora's Reincarnation and Fierce Deity talking happens, then you have to fight MR as FD, after you beat the reincarnation, he transforms into a new kind of beast, Majora's Ultima, a huge beast with whips and a tail like Ganon's from OoT, the first part of the battle is with FD, after you hit it a couple of times, MU will literally knock the mask off of Link's face, then you have to fight as Link(which is MUCH more harder than when you were FD) anyways after you beat MU, it'll turn back into Majora's Mask, then a cutscene begins, MM is coming at Link with blind rage, slapping him with her tentacles, then hangs him by the throat off the clock tower(lightning strikes right when this happens too) she is letting go of Link when all of a sudden FD grabs Link and lays him down on the clock tower roof (do you get what happened? FD was the lightning or at least his soul and spirit was, and the lightning struck the FD mask bringing him back to life) then the two fight it out and fierce deity eventually gets weaker and struggles, that is until Link gets up boiling mad, grabs his sword and shield and the final battle begins, in which Link destroys MM for good. then the ending comes along, FD returns to the heavens, and Link is named a legend and hero, and leaves the land for more adventures. i would also like to add that i would have heart pieces(and having to do a lot of stuff to get them like in MM) and much more other stuff too, tell me what you think

Re: What would you like to see in Zelda?

I think that there should be an option on whether to take a fairy's advice or not; after you play the game several times, it gets old when someone stops the game to tell you how to open a door. =/

Another character to assist Link from time to time would be good, kind of like Sheik, only it won't be Zelda in disguise. Like, that character could actually fight along side him in certain battles and such. Personally, I'd prefer a strong female character, one that doesn't get into Ganondorf's traps as easily, like Zelda or Nabooru.

I also agree with the idea to go either good or evil....just because I think it would be interesting to try. ^_^

It would also be really, really cool if at the end, Link could hold the Triforce. =D

A bigger world would be nice...and maybe you could go from Hyrule to another country. *nods*
