new zelda in the works?

i was looking on The Hylia and saw an article where Miyamoto was talking about Wii Fit. but during the article, he suddenly said this:

There is always at least one new Zelda game under development. As long as Zelda remains as profitable as it is, this will remain true.

So yes. It is always safe to assume, at any point or time, that there is work commencing on some Zelda game or another. The only question is what stage of development it's at.

^^To me, this statement shows they're not very far at all but in the very start of the process. Of course, the translation could be off or Miyamota could be toying with us.

Since Twilight Princess wasn't a Wii Zelda, it was actually a GC Zelda tweaked to the Wii.

I guess we're still waiting for the Actualy Zelda Wii game.

So for now it seems the man behind Zelda and Mario is keen to work on pastures new, developing brains and fitness across the world, whilst the fate of Mario, Link, and co, rests in other hands it seems.

Im so happy they are making a new Zelda game. Mario Galaxy being a bigger success then Twilight princess I thought they would work on a new Mario game instead. Like when Ocarina Of Time was a big success they stopped making a Mario game so they could make Majoras Mask. I hope this Zelda game has a clock like Majoras Mask did and there is a lot of character depth like Majoras Mask. What do you hope for this game?

it says: "The Zelda team is forming again to work on new games!" and some people have taken this to mean that they are making a new game, when they could be making a different game in the same style/genre as Zelda, but it could be a new Zelda

Well if you know the Zelda team are at work then you would think its a Zelda game because they know it would sell. I am %99.99 sure it is Zelda. If it isnt the new character Nintendo will add to its collection of characters :S will be really good because the Zelda team are making it so we can't loose. Also I have found information all over the web it isnt hard to find.

Oh come one, is it really that much of a suprise? Was there ever any doubt that there would be another Zelda game? Zelda is one of the most profitable franchises of Nintendo. As long as it stays that way, Nintendo will keep making Zelda games.

a bit after TP was released nintendo said they were making a new Wii Zelda since a year ago, that means by now that Zelda as been in process for more than 2 years, this is just confirming old news.
