new zelda in the works?

We all know that there's gonna be another Zelda. This doesn't give us much more information. End of story.

Before creating a new thread of your own, it's the member's responsibility to browse if there's already an existing thread with the same subject. If there is, then it's custom to reply in the already existing (active) thread. Clearly, you disregarded looking for a similar thread and just assumed you were the first (but you were wrong, hence the threads have been merged).

There was no desperation, it's just keeping the forums nice and tidy (there's no need to have duplicates).

MyTeamLevel100, it doesn't matter if it was on the first page, or on the fifth page. As long as a thread is considered active (meaning it's been posted in the past 30 days) and was created first, it will be the primary thread for discussion.

I just had to delete a few posts just now, and if anybody continues to get off topic, I'll have to hand out some warnings for spamming.

anyways, i guess i havent really posted my opinion about this.
from what i can tell, it seems the "zelda team" has just barely come together to create something. but nonetheless, they are making a new zelda game.

i'm sure we'll hear about it at E3

Maybe not this E3, though. From what I've heard, this game is in very early stages of development.

I'd say it should be released in 2011, or if we're lucky 2010. 2009 is pushing it, I think.

i'm not talking about a release date.
they could still show a trailer or something during E3, even if it's in early devopment.
but i agree with the release time though.

They're bound to talk about it, even briefly, at E3. They're running out of first-party titles that the public knows about to be excited for, and Wii Fit and Mario Kart are both coming out before E3.

What's so outrageous about this story anyway? I don't think I've ever seen the collective be this skeptical about a piece of news before.

I'm very happy to see this come out of Miyamoto's mouth. It gives us confirmation that one is currently in the works. Up until now everyone just assumed that one was being worked on. There was a 6 year wait between ALttP and OoT so there's no gaurantee that we'll see a game every 2-3 years.

What does everyone think about our chances of seeing a trailer at E3?

The new Zelda game that nintendo is working on I heard is already a year in the making. But thats what they said when Twilight Princess came out in 2006 so I bet its more like 2 and a half or 3 years now.

Ok, so when exactly is E3? July? So it's like a 3 month wait for any new Zelda news? And the next Zelda might just be a TP sequel or something crap? I am now PRAYING that it is something along the lines of MM. I will be so happy if it is.

Hmm. I really hope there is a new Zelda being made! And that it is for Wii. Hope to see some details emerging sometime in the near future.
