I just want to stay as being Link.

Anyone else sick of Link's transformations in recent games? For example, I hated how he transformed into a wolf in TP.

It was fun in MM, because after the epic long adventure of OoT, it was fun to finally change forms.

But then with recent games like MC and TP... I dunno, anyone else want nintendo to just stop with the transformations?

I think overall Nintendo has pulled off the transformations very well...but doing anything too much can lead to it becoming boring, so maybe they should try to find some new way to make gameplay fun.

MM had fantasic transformations, it provided excellent gameplay.

I thought the Wolf was a good idea, but they didnt take it anywhere, the only thing that was special was the Midna attack field thing (holding down B).

The transformation thing was good, especially in TP because you could see things that weren't visible without using senses, if TP had had different transformations suited for different dungeons, that would have been cool though

I liked the transformation (well more like shrinking) in MC, you look around town and think why is this there and that there; whats the point i can't get to it? But then it would all become clear, i thought it was quite clever how they did it all.

Hang on a tick, RINGS!!!!!! Remember in OoA and OoS Link had rings that would transform him in to differant beings. Bring back the transforming rings.

I think the transformations are good, but not how it was done in TP. It was annoying that, in the beginning, it forced you to transform, and you could only choose when later on in the game.

you would go to Vasu Jewelers and get your rings appraised. You could get the Octo ring and become an Octorok. Other rings turned u in to a moblin, a like like, a subrosian.

I think it's about time we got a Zelda game where you start as Link, finish as Link and spend the entirety of the intervening time as Link. As far as I'm aware, the only ones where we've been the same character in the same form from start to finish is the first one. We've been a fairy, a Deku Scrub, something that's very similar to a Deku Scrub, a Zora, a bird-thing, two completely different Gorons, a midget, a giant, an older Link, a wolf, a bunny, an invincible uber-god and most of the well-known enemies. It lost all originality a long time ago. Let's try something different and not turn into things next time.

I think it should be a choice...
-Where if you want to play the game differently, you can transform...

Like a Shekiah Tunic letting people play the game like Prince of Persia

Otherwise it shouldn't be a necessity

I really loved the transformations in MM as it added a bit of variety to the game play and in particular the Zora mask because even once I finished the game I still found it a lot of fun to use it and travel around underwater even though I wasn't doing anything in particular (although I found trying to jump over the Gerudo boats without being spotted was entertaining ).

I love wolves so the idea of transforming into one for TP was great but actually playing it wasn't as fun as I had hoped. I didn't mind playing as wolf link and at the start it was fun, but I don't think it was particularly well integrated into the game. When I heard you were going to be able to use wolf senses to play a different way than link, I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting to get but the result was disappointing for me

The reason I didn't enjoy it wasn't because it wasn't a very original idea because really all the Zelda games are essentially the same any way in my opinion and I still love playing them, but because I felt that they could have gotten so much more out of the idea. So I wouldn't mind more transformations in future games but if there are I'd like it to be really developed and maybe have a choice of when you transform and those decisions impact the rest of the game for you so it doesn't feel just like a novelty extra but an extremely important tool to be used in playing experience

There has been a lot of transformation in the games. Whether for brief times like using the fairy spell, or turning into a bunny, or using it frequently like turning into a wolf, or a Goron/Zora/Deku.

Then there are the rings that don't really give you any powers when you transform. You just look different.

I never really thought about it, but it's become kind of a tradition in games. I could personally take it or leave it, even though it's one of the best things about MM.

I completely despised the Minish transformation,but anything up to the Oracles I would be fine with.

I agree with just being Link and to break from the monotony Nintendo could give us a variety of tunics/earings/rings/capes/shields to play with....
