And anyway to the person that posted this thread: In some discussion with a maker of Zelda he said "TP would be the last Zelda game of its kind." I am pretty like 90% sure you've just confused this with the end of the Zelda franchise. So I'm very sure Zelda will not die.....so be happy

Some people took it to mean that Twilight Princess being the "last of its kind" meant that the Zelda series is going in a never-before-seen direction. It's all speculation from there, but one thing that would be doable with the increased functionality of the Wii controller is a first-person Zelda, like the Metroid Prime series. It doesn't signal the end of Zelda videogames. That would be like Nintendo saying, "well, we're out of story ideas, so we're putting Mario away... forever".

Only idiots and homeless people would believe such a stupid thing as the zelda series ending any century soon, it's too good

It can be first person, a whole new way of telling stories, new controll schemes or just a new art direction...
Nothing indicates Ninty will stop making Zelda games.

another good reason why the legend of zelda will go on for years to come, it's a very long running series, and the story doesn't seem to be over yet. the series won't be over until nintendo officially say it is over

What are you talking about? Nintendo wouldn't discontinue the series now, they have no reason...and why would they make a new LoZ game on the GameCube?

Step 2: buy tWW and TP, and download every Zelda available on the VC
Step 3: complete them all.

Yup,especially with all the hype of a Zelda for Wii.

I also read in an interview about PH that Nintendo is planning on making another zelda four swords game for the DS, and there is also Zelda wii that Nintendo is making. But if your rumor is true then I am going to hurt someone. AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
