Should Link get a makeover?

This is a bit trivial, but what do you guys think about giving Link a little makeover? Nothing too drastic, maybe change the color of his hair (back to brown), or even change his tunic slightly. (Twilight Princess was a nice change as the chain mail is a little more believable for a Legendary warrior.) Not a drastic makeover, as the best thing about Link is no matter how he's drawn or rendered, he's still recognizable. To sum up, are there any minor changes you'd like to give Link's design?

Keep the hairstyle from TP, but alter to a slightly more muddy brown. With the tunic, the green #00CC00 colouring should be kept, but a v-necked tunic is the way to go, such as the OoT Link. Having slightly more visible "armour" characteristics would be nice, so yes, chainmail.

I think The changes they made to link in TP were perfect, albeit a bit overdue. I think that no matter what they do with him in the future, TP link should be the new refference point. I thought he looked great and wouldn't mind seeing more links look a bit like that. I do like the fact that in the recent games, link has started off in different clothing and gotten the tunic gettup later on in the story line. makes him more believable.
I don't think a link with black hair would be right, but brown, no big deal. Link's been a brunette before.

Also, I wouldn't mind pale red-head Link, bordering on pink, but only for the chibi games. (WW/PH) I reckon that art-style could pull it off well, and it would be a nice reference to aLttP.

Pink-head Link would look stupid in TP style. Imagine:

Midna: "We will risk everything to den-"

Ganondorf: "HAHAHAHA! The pinkness! Link is pink! AHAHAH!"

Midna: (to Link) "... he's right you know."

Anyway, changing his eye colour wouldn't be too bad. I was appealed by Link's look on the official art of Phantom Hourglass, but green eyes would be perfect, especially if he had red (or terracotta-coloured) hair.

And, should there be another Adult Link, give them moustasche. No, I'm serious.

Hahahaha a Ginger Link! I actually wouldn't mind that if they did it the right way. Like a brownish red with some subtle freckles. Details like that would be pretty cool. Maybe some stubble would be nice too. I liked the piercing he had in OoT, maybe more of those?

I think it would add a twist if in the next Zelda, have link from TP but much older. He would have a slightly different get-up, and look more like he's been through a lot of fights.

I'm not sure about older, as I think Teen Link has a very strong emotional connection to all players, more so than Child Link in my opinion. But I would like Link to have a real reason to fight (and I don't mean a cheesy revenge plot) but a real strong back story. I agree with you on one thing, maybe he could look a little rougher.

I'd like to see Child Link to return to the series. What I mean is a realistic one now, not a cel-shaded Link. I always preferred to play as a kid Link.

I like Link just the way he is. I like him blond and blue-eyed and full of sexy. ;D Link is the reason I like blond guys anyways. XD I love the way they portrayed them in TP. I say keep Link the way he is. Besides, a brown-haired Link only makes me think of that horrible cartoon.... *shudder* I've never seen his hair brown besides that. I mean, in the first game it was more red than brown to my eyes.

A manly Link just doesn't seem to work in my mind either...I like a teen Link. Since I'm a teenager and all. Although, if you want manly Link, they always could bring back Fierce Deity...Ganondorf is enough of a man to satisfy that need. ;D

I guess I'll never have a relationship with a Zeldagirl because my hair is a very dark black-ish color.:glare

I think he looked pretty good in tp but maybe his hair shoulda been a teensy bit lighter.

Yeah, that's pretty much how Future Zelda works. I guess you get used to it after a while or something.

Anyway, I kind of like the current Link model. I wouldn't mind a few changes though, such as metal bracers over the gauntlets, a cuirass of some sort, or maybe even a set of pauldrons or spaulders. You know, to make his outfit look more like armor than a set of clothes.

His Magic Armor in TP looked fantastic. Too bad it was almost entirely unwearable

That's because it sucked.
