The Fierce Diety... in Hyrule

The Fierce Diety is a hot topic of discussion amongst Zelda fans, especially with people wanting his return to the game! I was reading a thread on the Fierce Diety here, and i had some ideas, yet I thought raising them in that thread would be cluttered, so here they are.

The Fierce Diety is unlikely to return to a Zelda game. Many people hope for a sequel to MM, in which the Fierce Diety appears, however when we consider that closely we learn something. Link, with all his masks, everything after MM makes his way back through the woods, to Hyrule. We don't know whay happens to this Link, yet unless he dumped everything he earned in Termina, he bought everything back to Hyrule with him!!! AND, that includes the Fierce Diety mask. The mask, is somewhere in Hyrule. Maybe Link never took it off!! Despite, with that knowledge, what remains of the Fierce Diety mask is in the Kingdom of Hyrule.

What I'd like to see is, a game, set in similiar graphics and timeframe to TP, where Ganon has managed to destroy all that is able to defeat him. The master sword, the light, or silver arrow, everything. Ganon has destroyed it. Hyrule is going down!!! Yet then someone remembers as a last hope that the power of the diety are avaliable. That the fierce Diety mask is in Hyrule. It is Links duty to find it, and he does, as well as learning it's true origins, and it's rivalry with Majora. With this mask Link defeats ganon like no other Link has. He opens a can of godly whoop ass.

You could have an alternate plot angle, where this takes place just before the flood spoken of in Wind Waker. Gan on removes the power from the master sword, he takes the light arrow, the triforce of courage is shattered. He splits up the Triforce of Wisdom, yet the royal family collect it, with Zelda getting a piece and King Daphnes getting some. With that they search for the Fierce Diety and discover it, however people are crying out to the Gods. FierceDiety defeats Ganon enough to bide some time for The god's to seal him in with the flood.

Both possibilities, yet if the Fierce Diety was to retuen and fight Ganon, I'd want him to absolutely smash Ganon. Well the storylines aren't gonna happen, though i'd like it, yet you can't argue with much evidence that the mask itself isn't in Hyrule!!!

Re: The Fierce Diety... in Hyrule

Put this on the theory board. But what makes you think that Link took his stuff to Hyrule? And in some peoples files,he didn't even get the mask.Anyway,I highly doubt that we are going to have a Fierce Diety game, since worldwide,he isn't too popular.

The timelines you thought of are great.I just doubt that Nintendo will make a fierce diety game for profit reasons. And a lot of people don't even know who he is,he wasn't a storyline mask,he was an extra. And again, kudos to the stories.

If you'd collected so many belongings in Termina, and returned home to Hyrule why wouldn't link take all his belongings? Seen there is no scene where Link dumps his stuff, we have to assume he took them with him, which isn't a far out thought!!

When theorizing and making ideas, it is etiquette to assume the game file was completed perfectly, so you know everything that happened. Because whether you did it in your file or not, the character Link does get the mask in MM!

Look around the forums. The fierce Diety is popular, yet we all know there probably won't be another game, unless some good reason comes up!

I don't see this happening. Majora's Mask and Wind Waker take place in different timelines. I don't see there being a flood in the child timeline any time soon.

It would be cool if it was Link's duty to find the FD mask. Nintendo made a sequel to the not so popular four swords game, four swords adventures. The four swords series even got its own prequel, The Minish Cap, even though it was not as popular as it could have been. Majora's Mask is due justice with it's own prequel (that either explains the FD origins) or direct sequel.

Heh, you'd think so, but Link has a habit of losing all of his possessions, non-vital heart containers, knowledge of songs, and understanding of how to press A to open a door, between games. Probably had one too many at the Milk Bar to celebrate.

What's in that milk anyway? Fairy dust? But yeah, Link does lose his items too many times between games. He's just like Samus. Link might have destroyed the FD mask under the instruction of Zelda or the Happy Mask Salesman so that it couldn't be abused like Majora's mask.

Wow, I hope not. I don't think the mask salesman would want it destroyed though, since he never attempted to destroy Majora's Mask while he had it.

I hate it, every thread ends up centered on a timeline debate, but I have to say, EVERY timeline is but a theory!!!

I don't think a prequel or sequel would be satisfying, as I said, I'd like one far in the future when the masks are remembered, with a different Link, and the Origin of Fierce Diety and Majora's stories are told. I see them both as superior beings, like a God and a Demon!

Hah. Good point, yet we know the obvious side of that! So I think the items are in Hyrule.

And you'se two just also reminded me, that majora would also be in hyrule, seen as that's where the mask salesmen shop is. both of them lurk in Hyrule. It's unlikely, but I really want a game with both of them, where we learn their origins, and the true nature of Termina! Yet happening in hyrule, and maybe Termina as well.

If we learned too much about Termina,MM would start to suck. And do you really think with all the trouble to get it,and what it can do that the mask pedophile would leave it at the store?I doubt it.And sure,FD is popular here, but Nintendo wouldn't check this forum for what to put in a new Zelda game, they would go with the worldwide preferences.

Re: The Fierce Diety... in Hyrule

I agree, Oni Link is unlikely to return in another game. He looked cool, but was totally useless in MM. Unless Ninty can make him useful, I don't want him back. Sorry, but that's just what I think.
