What don't you want in a zelda a game?

I find a lot of people throw out ideas and are shot down, I'd just like to know what you would not like...

And you can't say a really boring temple... because we all know thats the best idea since Navi...

A prequel to OoT.
Link as a race other than Hylian for most of the game. [transformation is great, but I've seen game suggestions where you play as a Rito....]

I wish I saw it that way too :-/ I tried it and liked the graphics and gameplay, just not Link himself. Also some of the enemies look too comical for my taste. But it's just my opinion.

Voice acting, first person shooter, play as an antagonist (for example Dark Link), adult Link, Ganon|dorf instead of Vaati, easy bosses.

That's right I hadn't thought of these:

No futuristic Zelda games (or Westerns, etc.)! Just stay medieval.

Please make fighting bosses an actual challenge

Actually, please don't make me save Zelda from Ganondorf again. It's been done, and I'll be replaying OoT and TP for years, but don't make another game with the same ending plot please.

One where there is no fairy following you around or an owl whose head flips upside down every other page....

Please no more rehashes of ALTTP.

Getting stale, the formula is.

What I don't want:
-Ganon/Ganondorf
-The Master Sword
-The Triforce
-Link being gay/dense (not meant offensive)
-Alternate world that's too similiar
-No difficulty at all

Wait, you don't want the triforce or master sword? Well I guess they're not 100% requirements. MM didn't have them. But would it actually annoy you if they mentioned the triforce? It's a staple of the series.

I like to see character and relationship development in Link and the plp surrounding him.

ok:

voice acting

futuristic time period

one-time-only-use weapons (e.g. Spinner)

play as Zelda

Play as antagonist

Link is not Hylian (transformations are ok)

an addition to OoT

a 2D version of a previous Zelda game

I don't want:
-Ganon
-Vaati
-Tingle
-Linearity
-A small world
-Crappy stories
-Lack of character development for Link
-Re-using characters besides Link and Zelda (Capcom has re-used Malon about 3 times by now, not counting Romani and Cremia from MM >.>)
-Having to rescue Zelda for the zillionth time
-Disturbing elder gorons' nipples
-Travesties

Even that was more useful than the slingshot.



I'd like to add another thing I don't want to see: a useless hookshot ripoff. Yea, having two clawshots is cool, but not when they don't do any damage to enemies, and don't latch onto roofs, or trees, or torches, or wooden ladders, or pretty much anything.

- Monkeys
- Crossdressers
- MIDI music.

- Realistic Graphics: If they try realism on the Wii, it'll probably look like crap. However, if they go back to their cel-shading engine that still looks amazing, then there is hope for something that could visually floor the people.

- WW style character designs (WW style bosses are a different story....)

I rest my case.
