A New Capcom Zelda

So do you think Capcom will grace us with another of their games in the future, whether it be on the DS or Wii?
Are you a fan of the Capcom games, and what would you like to see in the next one if it happens?

I myself prefer the Nintendo games much better, i played the Capcom releases that were good in my opinion but not amazing so i would not be bothered if they did not release another personaly. I know though that many liked the OoX, FS, FSA and MC games and also liked the characters Vaati etc.

Ummm..

FS was made by Flagship and Nintendo, FSA was Nintendo only, and tMC was made by Flagship only. So Vaati is completely non-Capcom. Admittedly, Flagship were doing it under guidance of Capcm, but not directy.

The only true Capcom Zelda games are the OoX games, which were fully designed and made by Capcom.

I've found Capcom's Zelda games utterly delightful, I would really like to see them creating another Zelda game. Flagship is really good too, creating the wonderful Minish Cap.

Anyone know why Nintendo is outsourcing some of their games to other companies? For example, Capcom made the two Oracles games and Flagship with some Zelda games, like The Minish Cap, which is my favorite right now.

With Nintendo being such a huge game developer, why are they asking smaller developers to make games for their biggest franchises like Zelda and Mario... not all games, but some.

EDIT: I found out that Capcom didn't make any Zelda games - just Flagship, which went out of business in 2007, and the employees are now working for Capcom. But Flagship was financed by Nintendo, Capcom and Sega.

The games are usually smaller ones then what Nintendo usually produces.

I say let the smaller company make the 'smaller' games and leave the OoT/TP/MM/tWW type games to Nintendo.

Also giving a smaller company to make a Zelda game allows the Zelda programers more time to work on bigger games.

Oh and my post does not imply that the games made by Flagship or w/e are bad games.

I say: leave the 'smaller' games to Nintendo EAD, and the bigger gamers to Retro Studios.

I LOVED TMC, it's still one of my favorite Zelda's.
But a new Flagship Zelda won't happen, because Flagship doesn't exist anymore. I have hope for a semi-action-oriented Zelda by Ready for Dawn, seeing that they already ported Õkami to the Wii, and that they don't make PSP games anymore, and Capcom has a healthy relationship with Nintendo.
Yet it still remains wishful thinking...

Thats why i put 'A New Capcom game' instead of 'Capcom/Flagship'.
But i think it's still possible Nintendo will allow Capcom to produce a game even with the state of the company at the moment.
Personally i am not hoping for one becasue i prefer they use all resources for the Wii Zelda but another studio working seperatly on another title cant hurt, just so alsong as they dont butcher the game like Phillips did.
Personally i see the Flgship/Capcom games as side titles even if i do believe they are included amoungst the timeline somewhere. They just confuse things all the time.lol

Quoted for truth. I find the handheld games to be most excellent, especially the Oracles duology. It's a shame that they never made Faore's side and created a trilogy. They were gonna, but felt that it was too hard to link three games together.
I'd love to see another game w/ Vaati as the centric enemy. He proved to be a great boss and well-powerful in the end of MC.

I know Miyamoto supervised the development of the Oracles games, so I doubt something like the CD-i games will ever happen again... speaking of that, why didn't Miyamoto help make the CD-i games better?

If Capcom can work with Nintendo to make another great Zelda game like Minish cap, why not.
I dont know really how much Capcom are involved with the making of these games, but if they can come up with great ideas it could be a major advantage for the series.
