next wii zelda

I am offly curious to what the creator o loz meant when he said tp would be the last zelda of its kind? I'm wondering if he meant that they're going to quit using that basic formula for zelda games, and rework it a bit, making what we are used to by now very different.

Well, what ever they do, I know I'll like it. but I want them to start putting more of a story into it, whether it be a love story or something that will really make us tear jerked.

And does link always have to be a mute?

Maybe he was hinting that the next one would require first person perspective. I hope not. Hopefully it just means they will change the formula, because so far OOT and TP seem like 3D remakes of LTTP. Also they need to go to a full roaming map, instead of rooms with loading screens.

maybe they will stop with the classic 3 hits boss kill, most of the bosses in all Zelda games take 3 times to kill it (Throw rock at head, slash the sword at tail repeat 2 more times)

maybe they will also switch up the weapons, I mean it usually always goes... Map > compass > Weapon... and the weapon you get in the dungeon always is the one you need to kill the boss...

Or maybe have a new main character (which I would hate)

I think when Miyamoto(right guy??) said "it will be the last of it's kind", coming from me, I think he means he might make it more rpg like game.

I think that people are maybe going a tad overboard when they say that Zelda will probally become a First Person game, or it will become a tactical RPG or somthing.

Personally, I just think that they will just be mixing the formula around. Maybe, MORE then 3 slots to save your game. Maybe, voice acting on a few of the characters. Maybe, less block pushing puzzles. You know, not huge changes but, in the context of the Zelda series, deviations from the norm.

I gotta say Sam250 is probably the closest hear.

I think they need to swich a few things up, give it a nice 'fresh smell' to the series. Honestly playing TP almost felt like a good bye or some sort of collage of all the things we've come to love.
I just gotta' say this next one is gonna be big. Bigger than the hype around TP, big.

My guess is they will be changing the formula a little bit; new storyline, and probably more Wii-ish gameplay mechanics would be my guess. Who knows, maybe they're going back to the old top-down style of gameplay with this one. Whatever it is, I know they'll do it well; everytime I've been skeptical of something Nintendo has done (Wii controller, Metroid Prime, Wind Waker) I've ended up loving it.
Also, where did you hear that he said this would be the last Zelda of it's kind? I'm not denying you heard it, it's just that I've been out of the Nintendo news loop for a while regarding anything but SSBB.
