3D remakes

Do you think itd be cool if Nintendo makes complete 3d remakes of LoZ or Aol. Or maybe one of the gameboy games. Would you buy them if they did?

I would rather them concentrate on new games than old ones.

Im just saying as a bonus attachment on their next game. Like if they included an extra disc with it or something

It would be cool, but most likely won't happen. I don't really see where this thread could go, as it's been discussed plenty of times before.

I would definitely buy them, i even bought Tingle's game! If it has Zelda in the title or has some sort of cameo from a Zelda character (Soul calibur) i will buy it. I would rather they focused on making a brand new game though.

does that include the god forsaken CDI games?

a 3D remake of AoL would just be 3D sprites (thanks to the sidescrolling combat)

a 3D remake of LoZ is pretty much impossible.

I wish! I've looked for them on Ebay but i've never seen them all available to buy together, i really don't want to buy them one at a time.
Even if they are terrible they're still Zelda and they're very rare.

I've said before that a remake of aLttP might be just as good, if not better than Ocarina of Time...but I don't want one. Because it's too similar. Let's focus on the future games.
And how could they make a 3D remake of an old game as just a little bonus thing??? That would be a hell of a lot of work. You can't make 3D game the quality of Zelda overnight ya know. Plus even if it was just a 'bonus disk' it would take away from their time they need to spend on making a NEW game.

True, i was just saying hypothetically if they were made

And hypothetically, that would require too much time and effort, thus deterring from the real need in Zelda: a new game that's just as fun as the old ones, but still has enough to make it original

A remake will be alright but i would prefer it if they worked on a totally new game instead.

omg i was thinking the exact same thing yesterday,scary... ya i think that would be cool. it would also be awsome if they made the n64 games with really good graphics, that would be cool

I actually heard many months ago that Anouma wished he could remake an old game, preferrably ALttP. Except, it would actually be ALttP, not something different like OoT was

that would be radical. radical to the max.

I dont really advocate any remakes. If a remake was to occur, I would prefer Link's Awakening or Legend Of Zelda. But I would rather have a new story than a rehash.

Ocarina Of Time was very similair... and it did deal with concepts introduced in A Link To The Past.

I actually thought about this earlier today, and although Anouma wants to make a remake, I dont think he would do it anytime soon. He announced it while they were making PH, and from what it sounds like, another game is aleady being made. So I think they'll want to get other ideas out of the way first before they go on to a remake.
