A MARIO AND ZELDA GAME

hey do you think there should be a Loz game where mario is in it?Well yeah sure it might make the game a little wierd but having to play as mario in a Loz game would be fun.

Mabey as a cameo like in other games, but defintitly not a main character.

He has already appeared in several Zelda games.

if you mean as a character then i say no, if you mean like an object then i will say yes
if you want mario as a character then it won't be a zelda game anymore. that's why i said no!

Talon IS Mario... hehe he likes mushrooms. And Ingo is luigi...

Nintendo is welcome to throw a few cameos into a Zelda game but I don't think that he could make it in a Zelda game. Think about trying to defeat Dibaba (first boss in TP) with Mario. Yea, not going to work so well. Now on the other hand if Nintendo wanted to pull a SE and do a cross world game like Kingdom Hearts it would work better than just tossing Mario into a Zelda game.

Mario was in a picture in a hallway in OOT.

little cameos that you might miss if your not looking are fine, as a NPC, or PC and its not some Smash Bros. spin off type thing, no, I would prefer Mario (Luigi, Toad, Peach, Donkey Kong Bowser, Diddy Kong, Yoshi, Banjo, Kazooie, Conker, or another chracter from a Nintendo game) stay out of LOZ

There have been many cameos of Mario in these Zelda games. The question is when is Zelda going to have one on Mario more often.
Not a good idea. They've been in Smash Bros. together and all, so maybe just a cameo.
And the "Rareware" characters aren't part of Nintendo anymore. We can still dream...

I think the only game where Mario and Link should be in it together is Smash. Anything more and I'd say Nintendo's out of their mind... but, it depends.

A short ans kind of fat plumber must embark on a quest to save the Kingdom of Hyrule by just punching, kicking and jumping...

So yeah, it wouldn't work out all that well.

Link in the Mushroom Kingdom might be a little bit more plausible, but it would still be too weird...

Link has appeared in hte Mushroom Kingdom, in Mario RPG there is a inn where you can find Link sleeping in a bed, as well as Samus.

Where do these stupid idias keep coming from?

No mario should not be a main charcter in a zelda game.

same here. it goes both ways. If Mario was to be in a Legend of Zelda game, it wouldn't be a Zelda game anymore. and vice-a-versa.

How 'bout a Freaky Friday kind of thing...but with Mario in Link's world and Link in Mario's world?

There's a hilarious fanfic I read that gave me this idea. It's called Mario and Link's Freaky Friday.

Excerpt:

Zelda was free. All of a sudden, the castle started to rumble. "Mario, we've got to escape immediately," piped Zelda, "follow me!" Mario had a better idea. He grabbed Zelda, and jumped off the top of the castle. "AHHHHH!", Zelda screamed and screamed on the way down...

While you could make a lot of good and funny scenario's for them to be in game together. To me it just wouldn't feel right. Their game universes are so different to me.

If they do a cross world, then they'd need more than one game for it to work. Like Mario, Pokemon, Metroid, Kirby, Sonic, etc. and include awesome items, like the Fireflower, the Copy item, Super Ring, etc.

As a main character that would not be good and I just cant see that, but as a cameo or as a picture or something like in OoT.

Not in a LoZ game, but I wouldn't mind a Link in Mario Kart nor do I mind Mario elements in Link's Awakening (also other Nintendo elements like SimCity, Bomberman, etc...).

Mario as a main character no way.

I like the idea of the Kingdom Hearts thing. Link would so be able to do some freakin' ballin' moves. Not to mention the use of Zelda items in a scenario like that would be neat as well...
