The Ol' Hit Once, Twice, Three times.
Well I'm positive that all of us know how all of LoZ's bosses die. You have to hit them 3 times, and then "caput." Would a new game with a whole new style to kill bosses be better than the "1,2,3" system?
Say maybe, a hit 7 times, then a second round occurs, requiring you to hit another 3 or 4 times? Or, have it so the very first boss of the game (being the easiest), requiring you only to hit them 3 times. THEN as you move on through the game, the bosses indeed get harder. Requiring you to hit at least 5 or more times, and so on. Your thoughts.

Re: The Ol' Hit Once, Twice, Three times.
The bosses in the Zelda series need a complete revamp. The puzzle-battles work amazingly well in games like Metroid Prime, but in Zelda, they don't even feel like battles. The bosses in recent Zeldas are extremely predictable. Instead of actually trying to kill you, they just defend a weak spot. They'll attack a few times, then wait for you to solve the puzzle. One their "secret" is discovered, you just repeat the process 3 times. There is no skill involved because once you figured out what to do, which is always extremely obvious, you already won the battle.
Nintendo needs to take lesson's from Retro Studio's Metroid Prime. Even when you figure out the weak point, you'll still need some skill to win the fight.

Well your idea as a whole is alright but the boses to me r epic & are fun but if it just took longer it would be annoying. it should be harder like god of war bosses and stuff like that. i'm not talking about the maturity but the dificultly level

I thought the same thing, but then I realized some bosses don't diee after three hits. When you fight Stallord in TP, you have to hit his spine with the spinner three times, then you have to hit his head with the spinner three times. Still though, it all revolves around the number 3.

What's wrong with 3? 3 is an awesome number! Maybe hit them 6 times... ooo! or maybe 9? Anyway, it has nothing to do with how many times you hit them. They have a damage meter or whatever. I saw someone kill Queen Gohma from OoT in 5 seconds.

Re: The Ol' Hit Once, Twice, Three times.
Maybe there should be a boss where you have to hit it 99 times. Then you'll just learn to appreciate the 1, 2, 3, hit. Sadly, Nintendo is likely to do something like that to us, just so they don't need to change it.
Imagine having to unload like, 99 arrows on some dude? In any case, I think that like, ALL of Zelda needs a re-vamp. As it's been said, The games constantly feature the same thing. 3 places / 3 stones. master sword. 6-7ish dungeons. etc. In the beginning three, it's type of a tutorial, so it's okay to have the three hit deal, but I would LOVE a badass, much harder three round thing before the master sword. And it's always forest, fire, water. I want to see FARORE, DIN, AND NAYRU at the end of these places, giving you their stones. How freaking awesome would that be.
