A NEW HERO

I think Link should die at one point,with a new hero taking his place.I think its a pretty good idea.

Wild idea but i would rather play as link the whole game, however it would be fun if they made a zelda game where you play as Ganondorf.... that would be cool.

Then what would be the point of Zelda games anymore if that happened? Link will always be the hero.

It can't be a Legend of Zelda game without Link, the hero .

In all fairness, though, most timeline theories agree that there's more than one Link.

While were at it, lets make a James Bond movie without James Bond in it (although Daniel Criag has pretty much ruined the Bond films as it is).

This is a really dumb idea. It would ruin zelda.

Nintendo would be f*ing stupid if they did that.

I wouldn't mind a spin-off game based around another character but killing Link and replacing him is a poopy doodoo idea.

come on! A game were you are ganon and go evil style and link is the last boss is cool. However... you face link at the end but he kills you, or you kill link and the in the next game.

What would be a good idea is you play as Link, then you THINK he dies, so you play someone else for a certain amount of time, then you play the end with Link again after he comes back, you know for the end.

A Zelda game without Link? Don't think so. Maybe Link gets in trouble and someone has to go and save HIM during a Zelda game? I think that'd be a good twist. Although that would make the game very inconsistant. Maybe just in one dungeon or something. Kind of like in Wind Waker when you used Ruto and whatever that other Deku guy was called, but you actually have to like save Link. I don't know lol

You clearly don't understand the Bond universe if you can't appreciate Daniel Craig's performance in Casino Royale, but that's a completely different topic.


Anyways, I perfer when Nintendo builds on a previous Link, rather than coming up with a new Link.

Although i disagree with the idea of playing as ganondorf, I think you're being hasty.

WAAAT?? KILL LINK??? Have you completely lost your mind?? Link is the one who's the hero of time!! he CANNOT, i repeat CAN-NOT be replaced by another kiddo who thinks he's able to save hyrule(or the currend world he's in then) Just do it like in tWW and PH, Now that gives a refreshing twist, and doesn't kill link...

Link dies all the time!!!! But the is replaced by another generation... who is also called Link...
anyway, there should be a multiplayer game where one is Link and one is another guy.

I'm surprised no one has brought up the Tingle game yet.
