Old Music + New game

Here is where you disscuss older Zelda music you wish to have implemented into a future game. There have been all sorts of older songs that were just great for there time, and would be even better orchistrated and put into a newer Zelda. If you want to know what your favorite songs would sound like re-done, ZREO is a great site.

Me: I would really want the Legend of Zelda's end credits put in there. I love it's happy tune, and it just sounds cool. Second, I want the Adevnture of Link's overworld theme. I love the awsome twist they gave it; it just improves on an already awsome song. Third, the overworld theme of Link's Awakening and the Oracles. I don't know why, I just really like that song. Also, the Cloud Tops from Minish Cap. Love the epic they gave it. It works well. And last but not least, the Dark World theme from Link to the Past. My favorite song, no contest.

So, what sogs do you want re-done and put in the next Zelda? Disscuss here!

Twilight Princess's Hyrule Field Theme definitely needs to stay, even if just the slower remixes of it. It's very nice sounding.

I'd also like to see some Wind Waker songs making a return. Particulary the intro screen song, The Legendary Hero, and the Dragon Roost Island song.

I quite agree. One of the best songs ever composed for a Zelda game - it sounds awesome played by a full orchestra.

Also the Hyrule Castle theme from LttP that was re-used in WW. I'd love to see (or hear ) that make a reappearance in the future.

Agree. But I didn't add it because TP is a bit new to be doing that with. This thread is called Old Music, after all.

Yup, Hyrule Castle is in my top teir list. I would want something similer to TP's 'Storming Hyrule Castle' part, whith the gradual transormation to Ganon's Tower. Bliss.

Well, first off, in the future they absolutely need orchestrated music - Super Mario Galaxy has it, and it sounds amazing. Given how much better the Zelda tunes are, the result would be awesome.

I'd personally like to see the warping songs from OoT; TP was close, ( The Serenade of Water was beautiful ) but they could do better. I'd also love to see some of the others like the Song of Storms and such return. Lastly, ALTTP's end credits.

I'd much rather want new songs for games, except for maybe the classic Zelda tune.
