A futuristic Zelda?

What if they did like Final Fantasy 7 where it was in a semi-future world? I think it would be cool to do that, because you can still have all the same weapons and characters, and magic could still be present too, just more modern. That would at least explain the frequent appearences of arcade machines.

No, Zelda should always stay in the Medevial ages and should never stray from that path. If it's worked for all this time why would you want to change the formula of it.
