Arrow Ideas!

Anyone got any ideas for different types of arrows? Eg: Ice arrow, Fire arrow... and explain what they can do.

Earth Arrows: Upon contact vines spring from the ground and slowly strangle your enemy. Can also make climbable vines and ropes to swing on.

Electric Arrows: Upon contact it electrifies the enemy, if fired into water it sends out a shock that hits all enemies in the water within a large radius.

Rope arrows. When you shoot a rope arrow you can then use the rope to swing where ever the arrow got shot at. If you shoot them at enemies you can pull the enemy towards you. If there is something you cannt grab shoot a rope arrow and pull it towards you. If you have a lantern you can also ignite the rope at the end of the arrow and the arrow will explode.

Minus the exploding part, isn't that the role of the Hookshoot/Longshot/Clawshot?

Virus/Posion, It could almost kill the enemy but leave him alive so it can spread to other minons so you could hill tons with just one shot.

No the hook shot you get pulled towards. You swing on the rope like you would with the rope you get in WW. Should of said that earlier

Maybe a...Net Arrow? So when it comes close to contact, the arrow explodes into a net, capable of capturing many enemies at once. That would come in handy in a lot of levels *looks at TP in the Cave of Ordeals, more specifically the Three Pesky Darknuts*.

How about a nuke arrow It will be like a bomb arrow but you dont have to hit an minion or a place near the minion. You could fire it in the air(FAR AWAY) and it would fall making a HUGE explodtion taking alot of area to its mercy

An arrow with something on the inside that would break when the arrow hit something. The arrow would have a slit on each of the more thin sides. The thing that breaks would have been holding together two spikes on something like a spring. When the thing holding the blades together breaks, they will come out at the arrow's sides to more severely wound an enemy. Basically a more powerful arrow that could also be used to climb surfaces with no footing. You just have to break the thing holding the blades together and you could put the blades in the surface to climb... I guess. Not such a great idea and i explained too much of it, but it's alright. i guess you could also use them as knives in certain circumstances. Like if you lose your sword and shield.

Dimensional arrows!

When fired at an enemy, it causes them to be sent to another dimension. They would be received in some...place. By shooting them into a mirror, Link can travel to the Mirror World, where he can:

1: Buy special items (Magic Armor, Quiver upgrades, a Bottle) with souls of defeated enemies.

2: Battle each enemy that was defeated with the arrows, in a special Time Attack mode.

3: Explore the dungeons again, now with tougher enemies, shorter times for puzzles, and more traps.

Twilight Arrows.

Arrows containing small shards of the broken Mirror of Twilight, being struck with these arrows will send you straight to the twilight realm with no hope of return.

Vine arrows. Shoot an arrow on the ground and vines will sprout from the ground so you can climb them.

Bomb Arrows Good for Blowing up small stuff more range than bombs but less overall Power

Dark Arrows

Opposite of the Light Arrows? Almost. These can stop an enemy in their tracks, rather than destroying them.

Whoa, let me finish! If the enemy is destroyed while trapped, it will drop one more item than usual. However, if fired at certain enemies (Redead, I'm looking at you) it will heal them.

Laser arrow. This arrow takes up magic. It covers the arrow in a blue aura. When shot at enemies it goes right through them and will hit enemies behind it.

There are bomb arrows in Twilight Princess.

Mind if I give my idea on this? Maybe a arrow made out of magic, and when it hits the ground and there are a mob of enemies, it explodes, shooting beams of laser everywhere, piercing the enemies that dare to be around it.

The groove arrow. Fire it at a bad guy and it wil dance for Link's enjoyment. Every baddie will have its own dance

Thats a good idea. Maybe it could travel through multiple enemies and explode after it hits the ground or maybe you could make it explode when you whenever you want, you just have to time it.

belive it or not I was going to say the earth idea arow, its great.

Mirror arrow:

The mirror arrow not omly harms an enemy,but also make you switch places with the enemy you shot,and have it's abilities.It's perfect for boss fights(expecially the hard ones).Once it hits the enemy,the shot enemy switches when they just begin to attack you,then the enemies will then attack the shot enemy.But it dosen't work against bosses.And if you shoot an inanemant object,you switch places with the target.It's real good for hard to reach areas
