I posted this in another thread...but I just wanted to know what you guys think.

Hmm...a future Zelda. Interesting.
If I was working with the company I would do this:
All the Zelda games now are like save someone else right? Like Zelda, or Ilia, or someone. Maybe this isn't a good idea but I'll try.
So Ganondorf is back again. This time, instead of kidnapping someone else that is close to link, Ganon gets fed up with all of Link's successful attempts of defeating Ganon and ruining is plans. So in this game, Ganon tries to kidnap Link, and finish him off for good, so that Ganon may go about his evilness.
The kidnap is successful. Ganon drags link unexpectedly to his lair, where Link is chained up and is prepared for his execution. But something goes wrong (can't think of what should go wrong) and Ganon is sent out to fix whatever. In that time, Midna swoops by, with Tatl and Tael, who make a surprise entrance. They successfully untie Link, and they were about to escape when Ganon returns and gets rid of all three of the saviors. (He could have killed them, or let them go, but in any case he got rid of them somehow.) But this time, Link is smarter, and he manages to hide, and escape the castle (first temple.)
When he gets out, he realizes that he is in "Ganon's World" if that's what you may call it. It's a new dimension, which Ganon rules. Link figures out now why Ganon needs Zelda, to complete some kind of puzzle or something to gain ultimate power, but Link keeps getting in the way.
After weeks of hiding and such, Link comes across a group. It's like an Anti-Ganon group. He learns that these members were captured by Ganon, and were forced to live in this dimension. Now Link realizes that Ganon didn't bring him here to kill him, but to force him to live under his rule. But that requires some kind of special process, in which he escapes from, and all the Anti-Ganon members have also escaped from. The name of the organization will be Ganti.
The leader of Ganti realizes that Link has some special potential, and reveals a secret that he has never told anyone. In this world, Ganon had accidentally revealed his week spots. These fragments of something whole, once called the "Ganti" (thus where the name of the organization comes from), was the only thing in this dimension that can destroy Ganon. And then something shocking is revealed to Link. The only way to get out of this dimension is to gather those pieces, and then destroy Ganon with it.
Then Link receives something called the "Holy Sword", which was the remnants of the shattered Master Sword. It was remade immediately. But then Ganon had come in and taken the sword, because that sword was capable of destroying his minions. But once in this world, the sword was lost, and was recovered by the Ganti. (BTW Link receives a normal metal shield, lol!)
So Link then goes on his usual business, going through 7 temples and collecting the pieces of the Ganti. On his fourth temple he is reunited with the three lost ones (Midna, Tael, and Tatl) and they go forth on their journey. (I won't go into detail about the temples, this is just an idea.)
After around 72 hours of temple beating in real life time, and around months in game time, Link finally collects all the pieces, just to find that only one piece of the Ganti is missing. Later the news comes that Ganon has the last piece.
One day, after sneaking back into Ganon's temple, Link meets face to face with Ganon once again. Ganon has the last piece of the Ganti securely tied around his neck. Of course, Ganon and Link go into combat, and finally, when Link is down on the ground, Midna, Tatl, and Tael come to his rescue. The shield Ganon for a split second before they are blown away. That was the last of them.
Being fueled by rage and anger, Link gains new powers, and slashes Ganon. (In this phase of the fight Link is stronger and faster.) Finally, Ganon is on his knees, begging for Link to spare him. Link rips the last piece of the Ganti off of Ganon's neck, and sticks it in the other pieces. The object starts to glow. Just at that cut scene, Link has flashbacks of everyone that helped him throughout the journey. (Zelda, Malo, Tael, Tatl, Midna, people from
OOT, people from
MM, people from the whole series.) Link looks up, and he finds that Ganon is not there anymore, but stuck inside the Ganti.
The dimension is broken up, and people are freed back into their native countries. They all thank Link, and once again, Link is the hero. But what he doesn't know is that Ganon has secrets never known about the Ganti...he might just escape again. Cheating death? I think so.
