Links Love: Who will be Link's sweetheart in the next game?

If you think about it, Link has always had someone eather have a crush on him or someone that he could possibly fall in love with in the future. Who do you think will win Link's heart in the coming games?

Zelda or Malon.

Zelda, like it is most of the time, unless Ninty decides to add fresh new characters like they did in TP (ie. Ilia, Midna, etc.).

Yeah but think about it. Each game is a different Zelda and Link. That would be just WRONG. It has to be someone like Malon, Illia, or... well... someone thats not Zelda.

Yeah I can see Malon or another character we havent seen yet.

This is striking me as a little too close to the Romance thread, but I can see the merit of a thread discussing the future of romance in Zelda. I'll leave it open for now.

Link's pretty much a fighter, no time for fun 'n games for him.

It's the chemistry between link and other girls in the game that makes it more enjoyable, not that he actually hooks up with one. Romance wouldn't work in LoZ games, they're in there, but would distarct too much from the game's story if an actual romance were involved with Link.

No, it wouldn't... How about Nintendo develop a proper storyline for once. Most of the time, proper stories involve people in love.

Although, a good deal Zelda games don't even suggest a relationship. (OoT, AoL, TWW/PH, TP, TMC -sorta-, perhaps FS and FSA do, the other 6 or 7 dont really)

I think Midna should be readmitted to Link's life AND the Zelda games. She is REALLY hott for a Twilitian

I COULD go for a new hottie though. And I think Link should actually get involved with someone. Hey, he's always rescuing Zelda! For once he should rescue his girlfriend(not wife. Wife kills it) instead of princess! I have nothing against Zelda, but she';s not Link'sgirl! Why is it even called the Legend of Zelda if Link does all the work!?

Zelda and Link have always looked good together imo. In fact, when I first beat OoT, I thought they were going to kiss at the end! From that day forth, OoT Link and Zelda was my favorite pairing.

Guys...all this talk of Zelda vs Malon etc and such belongs in the Romance thread. As such, unless someone can give me a reason to re-open it, *closed*
