GET RID OF THE MASTER SWORD!!!!!

Will Link use a diffrent sword in hin next adventure? POST HERE

Edit: On second thought, yeah. I'm curious. But put in something worth discussing so I'll have a better reason to keep this open.

I hope not, I like the Master Sword.

It just wouldn't be the same without it.

lolwut? Why not GET RID OF THE TRIFORCE or maybe GET RID OF LINK'S GREEN HAT or perhaps GET RID OF GANONDORF (oh, wait, that's been suggested already...)

Basically they all amount to GET RID OF WHATEVER MAKES ZELDA WHAT IT IS.

I don't want to get rid of it, just use a sword maybe better then it with a different disign

Well I guess getting rid of the Master Sword wouldn't be such a big deal. I mean, it's not like a Zelda game without the Master Sword has never been made before...

To not use a Master Sword in another game is no big deal if you keep Ganon out the game. In every game that had Ganon you needed to use the Master Sword. So when Ganon is not around then you can use any type of sword you want.

The Master Sword is one of my favorite things from Zelda! I always look forward to getting it, even if i have already completed a game before. Take away the MS, take away Zelda completely!!

Are you mad? If you get rid of the master sword, then what the hell is Link going to use when he fights bosses? A tree branch? The Master Sword is one of the most important pats to each game, get rid of that and you have one Zelda game I'm not going to buy.
( oh by the way, on PH, the phantom sword is basically another version of the master sword)

The master sword is a true classic, i hope they never stop using it.

People have points when it comes to getting rid of Ganondorf, but why the Master Sword?

What, are you people talking about. We've had plenty of games without the Master Sword; works fine without it.

Exactly! You don't need the Master Sword to make it a good Zelda game. I love the Master Sword, it is my favourite sword from the series, but there are plenty of great games in the series that don't have it. A good Zelda game doesn't rely on the Master Sword.

Bad spelling and grammar, ftw.

There are plenty of other swords that are capable of killing evil. Take the Four Sword, or the Great Fairy Sword, or even the Gilded Sword for example. There are alot of Swords and weaponry that Link could use to stop evil instead of the Blade Of Evil's Bane.

plus master sword looks cool and its pretty much a classic and yes going on with some games havent used it but still master swords an original

While the Master Sword is definately getting old, I don't think they should get rid of it. Like the Triforce, it's an important part to the story. Maybe ti should jsut appear less, but not go away. Personally, I'd like to see more of the Four Sword.

The Master Sword is as recognizable to the zelda series as Link himself. Everygame when i play through the beginning dungeons with my wooden or plain sword, I'm always thinking, Master Swords coming soon . Plus, when you get the Master Sword is most games, thats when the game is just now beginning, like the 2nd half or bigger half of the game.

that would just ruin the game, except if they make a game about the destroy of the master sword, that would be better then just leave it out of a game ... if there will be a next game although.
