What if the gods felt homicidal?

I know the title sounds weird...but at least it caught your attention, right?

What if the gods felt like they couldn't trust Hyrule (or the planet it is on...and yes this sounds like my last post about the gods not being able to trust anybody and they turn their backs on Hyrule and the MS gets depowered.) But i digress. What if the gods felt they couldn't trust Hyrule and they decide to come down from the heavens and destroy everything themselves?

Well, what could anyone do? They're the GODS, no-one would have a chance against them, most likely. And even if they did, destroying the gods would probably have bad effects on the world, such as the MS losing it's power as you said before, leaving the world vulnerable to evil etc. The only solution would be to try to convince the gods to stop, which would be no easy feat; no being decides to destroy something it created without very good reason.

Well, obviously the gods would begin to destroy hyrule and depending on if it is just or not, they may suceed. If it was unjust then I'm sure the hero of time thing would kick in and summon a link to attempt to stop them. Then again, I thought the 3 goddeses were gone and only the triforce pieces remained anyway...idk. I can tell you one thing, hyrule wouldnt go down without a fight.

I suppose that someone may be able to use the Triforce to wish that they wouldn't, but otherwise, they're the GODS. You can't just stop the wrath of gods. That would be blasphemy, or heresy, or something....

True to all of your posts...but what would it be like if all the Links from every game came to help that one Link in that Hyrule?

If the goddesses didn't like them and wanted to kill them...

If the supreme beings of the Zelda universe (the Golden Goddesses) decided to wipe out Hyrule, game over. Now, if one of the "lesser" deities (like one of the guardians; Venus goes mad!) tried, we'd have something interesting. But if the Golden Goddesses went "aww, screw it", there's absolutely no hope.

Hyrule might still have a chance.

Majora was a god, or at least he was on par with the gods power-wise, and he tried to destroy the world. Link still won.

Still, we're talking about the supreme deities of the Zelda universe. They made all that is, and technically, every villain and hero there is.
