Something really stupid that I can't help but share with you guys...

That's right! Another future game idea! Check this one out:

Title: The Legend of Zelda: The Ring of Fire (Or whatever title suits best…)
Set: Between OoT and TWW (in the timeline opposite to Twilight Princess)
System: Wii
Graphic Style: As real as the Wii capabilities go
Theme: Fire, and the number 13

Storyline:

The Legend of “The Ring of Fire”:

Legend has it that after the Hero of Time went missing, and Ganondorf was locked in the Sacred Realm, the people of Hyrule had to turn to alternative means to keep evil out of their country. As such, the Goddesses appointed 12 sages out of every region and every race of Hyrule, to guard over their own magical Flame. The Sages were blessed with supernatural powers that aided them in guarding their “Flames”. These “Flames” were anointed with defensive powers to keep out evil for that specific region and race. These “Flames” were placed in a ring around the entire country, and with every Sage at their post guarding their own Flame the country was in balance. If one of these Flames went out, though, the people in the region the Flame was supposed to be protecting would be exposed to evil, and therefore everyone in that region would eventually succumb to their own hatred. However, the Goddesses appointed a 13th Sage to guard the 13th pillar, placed in the middle of the ring. He was told to guard over the rest of the Sages to make sure they were in balance. But the 13th Sage had no Flame of his own to guard, and therefore was blessed with no supernatural power. The 13th Sage (also known as Iano [ee-AH-noh]), felt cheated that he had to spend his life guarding others, with no benefit in it for him, so he demanded to be blessed with a Flame and a power. The Goddesses accepted. He was blessed with a Flame of his own, as well with a power which bound him to the Flame, but he could not handle his job. Eventually, the Flame consumed him, and the heat of it began to chew upon his flesh, eating him away bit by bit. He could not get rid of the Flame that had been bound to him, so he abandoned his post and went in hiding, alone and in pain, slowly being burned to death.

No one but the Goddesses knew the power that had been locked away in the Flame.

Where the Game Starts

You play as Link, of course, but not the Link that everyone grew to know and love. This one is an orphan, abandoned and left to die in the Gerudo Desert. He survived though, and after years of hard work he become one of the best and most efficient at his region’s chief industry: thievery. One day, however, his caught red-handed and forced to flee into the desert, where he is found by a sassy young Gerudo girl: Zana (ZAH-nuh). She tells him that she has a job for him: to go into the nearby Temple and get something “precious” to her. He accepts, but once he gets to the end, all he finds is a robed figure, wrapped from head to toe in bandages, attempting to make off with a candlestick full of an odd-tinted fire glowing in the furnace. The figure—with his candlestick duplicate—puts out the rest of the Flame and then leaves.

Link comes back empty handed and informs Zana of what happened. Zana simply looks troubled, and takes him back to her camp. She then introduces him to 11 other bandits, each appearing to be of a different race. Suddenly, one of the bandits goes berserk for no apparent reason at all, becoming increasingly violent and was forced to leave the camp. The rest of the bandits become frightened, especially Zana. After this incident, Zana says that Link has become “involved” with them, and he must help them on their quest, without fully knowing what he is helping them with.

The Bosses

The bosses are the 12 Sages after Iano consumed their Flame. They became insane and consumed with evil. Now Link must find keys to their past that unlocks their good side to defeat them.

Iano – stealing Flames because he is testing out which one has the power to extinguishing his OWN flame that is chewing on his flesh. (Each Flame has the power to cancel out one another. For instance: Water overcomes Fire, Fire overcomes Earth) Iano cannot find which Flame cancels out his own because he does not know what his Flame’s power is.

The Quest

To acquire the power of the Sages and use them all together to put out Iano’s Flame and defeat him before all of Hyrule is exposed to evil!!!

The game ends with the flooding of Hyrule. Does this mean that Link fails in his mission, or does another power come into play that Link and the Sages may not even be aware about?!?!?

Does it sound stupid, or does it have some potential? Be honest. It won't hurt my feelings.
