Re: New Game Names & Storylines

Legend Of Zelda: The Celestial Spear

The Celestial Spear is a mighty weapon which was wielded by the golden knight. He wore golden armour and a white cape. His face was covered by a golden lion mask. One day the Golden Lion (name of the golden knight) set out with his spear to rid the land of a mysterious evil in the far north. After several months the golden lion armour had been found but inside the body of the hero had turned to flesh and bones. The spear was no where in site, it had vanished and was no where to be found. The golden lion armour is now in the castle treasury and awaits a new hero to wear the armour. Link finds himself in a large city. The name of the city is Floren. The streets are busy and very secured by the knights. This is due to a problem by a group of pirates that sneak into town and steal food and ammo for their weapons. One day Link and Epona are walking through the large marketplace until someone yells for help. Link finds the culprit and gives chase on his horse. They come to a large castle. Link hops the fence and follows the thief iinside. Link finds himself in a room filled with armour. Link comes up with an idea to sneak into a piece of armour and catch the thief. Link goes into the best looking armour and remains still. The culprit stops thinking he has lost link but then the scum of the seas is grabbed by a giant lion made of gold. The thief runs out screaming and the guards come inside to investigate. They see the lion armour moving and run away in fear. the armour seems to fit his tiny body, it seems the armour magically fitted its size so it would fit Links tiny body. Link runs from the castle and runs into a person wearing the cape. the person tells you to follow him promising to remove the armour. After you catch up to him he tells you that the armour has chosen young link as its master. The man tells him he can "summon the armour" with a song he learnt. It will remove the armour from his body; if you pla the song it wil be back on. After the armour is off the man wearing the cape tells Link there is a dreadful evil that will engulf Floren and the enitre world if it is not stopped soon. After the man is finished he tells him to go to Galilaeo Lake and search for the Celestial spear. It is in the Lakes Sanctuary underneath the lakes bed. You can sink down by wearing the armour.

Re: New Game Names & Storylines

I came up with a new idea.

Legend of Zelda: Wrath of Onikan (own-I-khan)

This story tells about a wolf pack called the kan. They live in the forest all that far from where the Kokiri live. The pack is ruled by Yaku, who has three pups she raises as her apperentices. They all have different colored coats. The first one , Guida, has a red coat, symbolizing a future leader (same color as Yaku's) The second, Braaf, has a golden yellow coat, symbolizing great courage. And the last one, Onikan, has a shadowy black coat, symbolizing ruthlessness and evil. Anyway, the pack never stays in one spot of the forest for long, so they go through the Kokiri's home often. One day, after going through this part of th woods, Yaku is hit by an arrow and dies soon after. Since no ther wolves besides the pups are with her, nobody knows about it. A wolf with a darker coat than Onikan appears after that and tells them ther constant howling and barking before the event was the cause of Yaku's death. He tells the pups not to return to the pack and tells Guida and Braaf to run away, and kidnaps Onikan! Guida and Braaf decide to see if any of the Kokiri could help to find their brother (They don't know that Kokiri cant leave the forest.) They kinda scare just about everyone there (how would you feel if a wild, dangerous animal comes into your house?) When they finally get to Link's house, he is waiting with his sword ready. After learning of thier plight, Link agrees to help.
This will be edited when I have more ideas.

Re: New Game Names & Storylines

Legend of Zelda: A New Age

It is set in the future, approximately 1000-2000 years after OoT. The Hero of Time is reborn (yet again) and has to save the world from an evil trying to get the Triforce (yet again). A couple twists: Ganondorf makes a return after his followers (they seem Satanic, which fits seeing as Ganon is pretty much the Devil of LoZ) free him from the gap between dimensions. He also forces a war between Termina and Hyrule (a trans-dimensional path has been discovered through the years). Another twist, 12 pieces of the Triforce. The original 3 (power, wisdom, courage) and 9 more. The fit together to form a pyramid shape. Once all 12 are put together, the ultimate power is unleashed.

Also, see this thread to see more about my game idea.

Re: New Game Names & Storylines

Name of Game: The Legend Of Zelda: Fairycraft

Storyline: In a world far in the future, Hyrule is a very different place. Heavy industrialisation has transformed Kakariko Village into a vast city, expanding for miles around the remains of Hyrule castle, which lie as a shrine at it's center. The lost woods have spread out away from the expanding city, harbouring the now dark and twisted fairy folk and the deku knights, who protect the Forest Temple and what's left of the short-lived Deku Palace, warped by their hatred of what Hyrule has become. Death Mountain lies cold and dormant, watching silently over the blinding lights from the city below. And a vast medical science facility stands where Lake Hylia once glistened in the morning sun.
The legacy of Zelda, the teachings of the three goddesses and the triumphs of a Hylian hero and his glowing friend over evil, are remembered only as fractured and distorted stories in the minds of a warped cult, twisting passages in texts written by Queen Zelda herself, to justify their evil deeds.
Kakariko's scientists, who, in the past, had been making extensive breakthroughs in their research in genetics and magics haven't been heard from in years and nobody dares enter the huge facility in fear of not coming back out. Rumour has it that Zoras who volunteered to help with the research were given some sort of deadly virus and killed the scientists as revenge and now live the end of their days in the swamps in the lost woods.
Hyrule lies in danger of self destruction, unless someone has the power to remind everyone of the peace that greed, jealousy, wrath and ignorance drowned out. Lucky for them, the solitary beings who once used to bestow healing, advice and magical power onto the deserving now walk among them, and they have a plan.

The story starts with a cloaked figure moving through a dark alleyway, gliding silently over puddles and litter as if they weren't even there. Her reddish-pink hair waves strangely in the dead air and sparkling green eyes analyse the way ahead, deciphering shadowed obstacles that are barely lit by dim street lights.
As she reaches an opening, she looks around to check the coast is clear of patrolling cult members and glides towards a mock draw bridge leading to the Hylian Castle Ruins. Just as she passes over the creaking wood and metal, she stops, glancing back over her left shoulder.
"Going somewhere?" whispers a man dressed entirely in black.
"Just...paying respects."
"It is forbidden to enter the ruins, fairy. Leave."
Looking up to the sky, the cloaked woman whispers, "Now". Just then, a faint drumming and chanting can be heard from the east. She turns back to look into the crumbled ruins ahead, listening as some footsteps can be heard heading in the direction of the strange music. But heavy breathing can still be heard behind her, followed by the stretching and crumpling of a leather glove. She closes her eyes, holding her hand out in front of her and creating a small ball of green light in her palm. Other than the heavy breathing of the cult member, who had been searching for the intruder, and the mysterious music in the distance, the city is silent around them.
Suddenly she turns, blasting a stream of green energy at the man, casting a blinding light all around him. Then she runs into the fallen castle as fast as she can.

Walking up to a large tombstone outside the decrepit Temple of Time, she places her finger tips onto the engraved name 'Zelda', where her finger tips glow at the touch. Whispering in an earthy and pain filled voice, she says: "Daughter of Nayru, we need your help..."

---

The game involves the main character, a great fairy, taking Zelda's and Link's spirits through the haunted woods, to the fairy folk (dealing with angry dekus on the way) to restore their faith in Hyrule, then to Fairy Cove and the underground Goron City, where the powerful curse placed on Death Mountain by the cult needs to be lifted by the power of Nayru and Farore (through Zelda and Link).
Then the dark Medical Facility needs to be explored and the mystery revealed so the Zora's can be healed in the swamps. And finally, the cult, who are drawing power from their leader (who is drawing power from Din as a descendant of Ganon) need to be defeated. But the answer to beating them lies in the secrets gathered by and a crafty plan that includes help from the Zoras, Gorons, Dekus, Fairy folk, Great Fairies, various city habitants and the Goddesses themselves.

Showdown!

I believe I have put too much thought into this. *sigh*

Re: New Game Names & Storylines

The Legend Of Zelda: Lord of Dimensions (needs revising)

Takes place after Majora's Mask. Link has long since left Terminia, but the people there still remember him. Then a boy is born in clockdown who is very different then the other small boys...

He has brown hair, (Adventure of link, anyone?) and grows up to be an apprentice blacksmith. One day on a delivery he stumbles upon the gateway to Hyrule... But as he leaves Termina he finds Navi alone.

Navi is pretty old by now, but being a fairy has outlived link. She sees the new Link and befriends him. That is when thay are taken by surprise. Ganondorf isn't really around, so the villain is a band of thieves known as the Swappers (needs editing. Swappers is a dumb name.)

Anyway, Link uses the delivery sword to hack away at the two members who attack him, and on one man he finds a medallion which lets him switch through worlds!

The main idea is that the leader of these 'swappers' is causing havoc in all dimensions, and with the medallion (medallion should be a weapon, perhaps part of a later on found sword.), Link can switch worlds, taking a different view and form in each. Maybe in a certain dimension a wall would change and you would become a seperate animal, like the twilight realm with way more shapes to turn into.

New things:

Say, 10 different forms to change into.
A big bad new final boss!
Temples that are in both Hyrule and Termina: certain pieces in each. For instance, a floor is missing. You switch to the Terminian dimension and poof, new room!
Can't reach the cliff above? Perhaps a dodongo form could help you out...
New weapons! Hand to hand Terminian style combat!
New Link look! I really do want that....

Re: New Game Names & Storylines

The Legend of Zelda: Sea of Time

20 Years later from the previous events of Twilight Princess. Link went back to his normal life back in Ordon Village, and is a proud village chief. He has a family with Illia, and they have a couple kids. Life couldn't get better back in Ordon, Link being with his love, Illia, and his 2 kids.

A messenger from Hyrule castle comes travelling into the village for Link. He comes to Link telling him that he is being summoned by the Queen of Hyrule, Zelda.(remember, 20 years later). This message is urgent and Link is ordered to see Zelda as soon as possible, and to be equipped. Link unfortunatley, leaves his family in Ordon, promising him that he will be back the next day. He leaves and ventures through Hyrule fields on Epona(offspring of original Epona).

Link gets himself to Hyrule safely. No enemies roam the fields anymore, ever since the destruction of Mirror of Twilight. Link manages to reach Zelda and is confronted that she is sensing great evil that lies beyond Hyrule, that could possibly make its way into Hyrule if it's not stopped. She dreamt last night that this cloud of darkness came to Hyrule and swallowed all the light out of the land. She is worried that someone is behind this, and that if this is not stopped, the world will be corrupted in darkness. Zelda offers to escort Link to a place where only the royal family, and the guards of the castle no where it is, and it is beyond Death mountain.

Zelda, Link and company leave in haste to this place that remains unknown to Link. They travel through a mountain path inbetween death mountain and the snowy mountains., with the assistance of the gorons.

After travelling through the stone path, the gorons wave farewell to Zelda and Link as they make their way to the other side of the path. The place that Zelda wanted to show Link was the vast open ocean, the Sea of Time.

Zelda explains to Link how there is other lands out there like Hyrule, and that one of these lands is where she is sensing the great evil that is originating from. A ship is tied up on a dock, waiting for Link. Link accepts Zelda's quest in order to restore peace upon the world, and to prevent darkness from reaching Hyrule.

A great adventure lies beyond the sea of time, as he explores previous lands that seem familiar to him, and new ones that he hasn't seen before. As he explores the sea of time and journeys to previous and new lands, he begins to realize why the sea is called the Sea of Time as he see's the physical effects upon himself...

NEW THINGS AND OLD:

So as you see, as Link travels to these lands, he begins to change himself. For example, when he goes back to Termina, the closer he gets their, the younger he gets. And vice versa. Different worlds that seem familiar to him but he can't quite recall when he's seen them. And new worlds aswell have an effect where he stays adult or becomes slightly older(more modern worlds/lands). So I thought tieing something like this in would be cool.

There will be same dungeon names from previous lands, but tweaked a bit to make them more challenging. And there will be fresh new dungeons and temples.

Item wise, in this one Link will be able to purchase a variety of new swords, armor, and shields, along with keeping his original green tunic, and hylian shield.

Please tell me what you guys think

Re: New Game Names & Storylines

Legend of Zelda:The Temple of Purity

This is based about after TP.Link is heading torwards Gerudo desert(you know, the mirror chamber.the Mirror of Twilight.Hello?)He walks into the mirror chamber and notices shards of the Mirror of Twilight around in the sand. Now right now he dosen't remember about twilight,Midna,or the Master Sword because a case of a monkey knocks him out with a rock. You begin the game in the Gerudo desert because your goal is to get in the mirror chamber, because Link wants to investigate it,because that's all he remembers.Once you get to the Mirror chamber,Link grabs all the shards of the mirror and fixes it.Then he ends up in the palace of Twilight. Then that's the point Link remembers everything. You must reach the throne room where Midna is.You get a couple of weapons on your way(a sword and a shield). When you find Midna, she tells you about Zant's ghost wanting revenge for Midna killing him.So Zant decided to curse Midna and Link.Midna was returned to an imp-thing like in TP.And Link turns into an imp as well(a twili imp.)So your first boss is Zant's ghost. But you have to fight him as an imp.Midna is impressed that Link could still mess around with a sword and shield. With Link unknown about his magic abilities he has gained(like Midna). At the end,Zant surrenders, and tells them how to return to normal. But they first must go through the first part of the cave of ordeals,so he is able to go in the temple of purity. In the end of the ordeals, the great fairy gives Link the green tunic, and a metal sword. The fairy gives Midna a tunic as well, because it suits as armour for whoever wields it.Then Link goes through three dungeons to find more weapons.

Weapons:
Wooden sword:the starter weapon Link has in the begining of the game.
slingshot:an Ordon youth treasure Link uses
Blade of Twilight:a sword that could only be used in the twilight zone.It will be powerless untill it is revived with magic in the world of light.
Sword of Time:the sword that the Great Fairy givs to Link.It wieids the power of time, and power.
Master Sword:the last sword that Link obtains.
Hawk bow:a bow with arrows that make a sound of the hawk.
Hook spout:a claw shot upgrade. It shoots the maximum of five hooks a once.

Shields:
Twili shield:a shield used by worthy twili warriors and guards.
Hylian shield:an ordinary metal shield that you can buy in stores.
Pure shield:the best(and only)shield that enables to fire blasts of light at opponents

Items:
Rings of elements:different rings you get in dungeons. No big
warp staff:a staff Midna gives to Link.
Deku call:in the middle of the game, twili Link saves a deku scrub,so when the deku calls is made,a deku will appear, and help Link
