Let me state that yes i know now that it is fake. But lets think of a similar game that made a change to the series. UHHHHH Does anyoine here remeber the outrage that Wind Waker Brought. That made a huge change on the series, with the grafics, and epona being basically a boat. And what did you people do when it came out YOU BOUGHT IT. Not only that you liked it. You people say "Oh this would ruin the zelda for ever". "This is a terrible idea". Wel you know what you people would buy it and you know what else, you would like it because it is zelda. Now stop this BS cause you know you will buy it anyways. GOD you people piss me off.

I have a reason why this is still open:

People are still interested to see what is going to happen with this new, controversial idea. I personally think it is a great idea. Like someone said above, you will buy it. You will play it. You know it, you just all like to argue about keeping things the same in a still-thriving game franchise. Once I am done with my Zelda fan game I am working on right now, I think I will look into this idea a little further. I know it is fake, but the idea of a futuristic Zelda game is real enough for me, even if nobody is working on it right now...

Metroid is Nintendo's in the future game.

Nah. Zelda with the old style kind of maneuver to it sort of shapes the whole series. Being it in the future...just...nah.
