A game where you actually play as Zelda

A story can have more than one main character. Link, Zelda, and Ganon are the main characters of the games

Maybe. I definitely wouldn't mind trying it, but it kind of bothers me. The fact of switching between two characters...just not my gaming thing. I like to work with and stick on one character. But if the game requires to switch characters, I wouldn't mind it that much. But Zelda has been a one person thing, which I fell in love with.

And the switches would be kind of annoying...like one minute you are Link, the next Zelda...it just wouldn't fit MY gaming style. I'm sure all of you have different opinions, but this is just my own.

He has a point.I hate it when that particular thing happens to me.I probably bothers the world for it to happen to everyone.I mean that almost every game I own does that.Basicly,we need a game that tells you when that happens,and should give you time to prepare to do it.

Like gliderpilotgirl said back on the first page, co-op? Playing 1-player, you would just choose between either Link or Zelda. Play 2-player, and both players are able to control their character. Maybe other characters could get thrown in the mix as well?

This way, if you don't want to play a game as Zelda, then don't! If you do, then do it! If you want both, you can have that too!

yeah, that would be cool, a co-op, Link and Zelda, or a 1 player version where you can pick between them...

Playing as a princess would be fun. I can just imagine running around hyrule as Zelda who is carrying a golden bow in her hand and a quiver full of light arrows on her back.

It would be intresting to play as Zelda, but there would be some basic things,
A) There needs to be a reason why she doesn't have 10 bodyguards tailing her and a army underthumb
B) She's wealthy, and having access to such funds would limit the gane somewhat
C) Her post, Everyone would want to help, nowhere would be off limits, Would make the story abit harder to do.

Not if the game was like TP or WW. If all of Hyrule's ppl were like disabled or taken hostage Zelda wouldn't really have a huge army...plus Hyrule's soldiers are complete weenies!

I hate the fact that people think Princess Zelda without Sheik is so damn useless. Or because she's just a princess....thats a load of crap! Princess Zelda has earned her strips in Zelda games and deserves to be played along side with LINK. Magic can be her greatest asset and probly her sword too (in Twilight Princess) though I don't know if she's skilled with a blade

I must say it would be a great idea to use Zelda as a playable character. I'm pretty sure it has been thought of by many fans in the series

i really dont think they should make you be able to play as zelda, alot of other people would be mad becuase it would be too big of a change

I agree with gliderpilotgirl, also it would allow her charicter to develope, and we will get to see the OoT world with new graphics, and we would get to see Hyrule change during the 7 years link was gone.

Imagine the levels, using shieks ninja skills, sneak into an enemy fort and ect.

We also might get to see soldiers of Hyrule get to do something.

That game would be cool.
Maybe there'd be a 2D version for the ds and a 3d version for the wii?
I love 2D it's way better htan 3D i guess.

I don't think the game should have ANYTHING to do with OOT, maybe some random spinoff... or a mini game. It has potential to be epic, but I would be surprised if it managed to reach it's potential.

No, Link's the best and we all know it. I don't want to play as anyone but Link or Link turned into something else like a wolf or goron or zora or deku scrub.

A game where you play as link, and go into different forms would be cool.
But a zelda game would rule!

I guess that you've never heard of "Zelda's Adventure". It really sucked. It was one of the cd-i games.

I'm as surprised as you are. I guess guess my ideas are destined to be hated....and I don't see why playing as Zelda is bad. It will add to the story.us And if in the game it's optional, ppl who don't want to play as Zelda don't have to.
