The creator of Ocarina of Time 2D died in a car crash. The project was canceled after his death.

He didn't die, he faked his death.
Now - the creator, 'TheRealMethuselah,' has claimed that OOT 2D has been at 90% completeion for over four years, and coupled with his faked death and the people claiming he stole money from them with prommises to help the game's prgression, but didn't, that and a giant lawsuit possibilty, I think that OOT 2D will not come to fruition.

HA. This is funny. There were 2 big OoT2D remakes, one by TheRealMethuselah, and one by Dampe. Dampe died in a car accident, and from what I've heard, TRM is either currently serving in the middle east or busy with his new wife.
Oh, and from what I've heard of OoTGB, Knightmare canceled it.
