The Legend of Link

Does anyone besides me think it would be kinda cool for a game called The Legend of Link. We all know the serise it called the Legend of Zelda where your link trying to save Zelda. But I thought it would be cool for The Legend Of Link game where you Zelda trying to save Link!

Hey, I know, they could call a Zelda game Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, release it on the NES, and give it some sort of level based system unique to the series.

I'm not exactly sure about this, but my personal opinion is that it is called The Legend of Zelda because it is almost always Zelda that is the damsel in distress... It sounds kinda dumb, but Zelda shows up in every single Zelda game, except Link's Awakening (even though she is briefly mentioned at the beginning of the game). I think that if they were to start The Legend of Link, then the player would have to be somebody different instead of Link.

I don't know... It's just a little thought that seems to contradict itself seven times fold.

they need to do something crazy about the series...but playing as zelda?...never

They just need to make The legend of Zelda better. We always want better. We demand it!

The Legend of Link is already a fan movie based on the Legend of Zelda.

And, as stated before, the concept of Zelda saving Link has been tried before (in the Wand of Gamelon). And it failed.

i guess that would be cool to play as zelda at some point in the game

id suggest maybe playing as the dark side aswell as good
but as sonic games have proven. it doesnt work

I think that they need to make a Zelda game for the dark side where you play as, say, a younger Ganondorf or Dark Link. You learn their thoughts, feelings, emotions, and mabey even take their side. Not to mention all the cool new stuff you can do with that character!

But playing as Zelda? No. just . . . no.

So would you play as zelda and save link?

Ridiculous idea. Would never happen, anyway.
And I don't see any Princess of Hyrule travelling over vast lands just to save a regular Hylian boy.

So, what have we learned? Playing as Zelda would not be fun. Thank you transitive property of equality.

Lengend of Link is a 3 part videos that spoof Zelda. Its really funny Google Video search Obsession Studios and watch it if you want!

No, it's clichéd and overused.

I do remember rumours that you could play as Zelda for parts in TP; that would have been interesting as it was to do so in MM with Kafei. but think of the frequency more of Mumbo Jumbo in Banjo Tooie.

Legend of Link?naaah....imo is a bad title....Try to imagine Zelda saving LinkxDDDD

It's the Legend of Zelda because it's about the legend of the Royal Family and their encounters with Ganondorf. Because Zelda is the Princess/Queen it's named after her.

in MM i dont think shes in it at all?

No. Link can still be the Legend that saves Hyrule.
