Termina

I've been thinking this over for a while. Who would like Termina to return? It was an awesome country, with it's own cultures and locations and ultimately the most fleshed-out land in the Zelda series besides Hyrule. I know that we all love Hyrule and it's traditional locations but Termina gave a new angle to the NPCs and races from Hyrule and featured in one of, if not THE best Zelda game yet.

If there was a new game in Termina, it wouldn't have to rehash the Masks, or villains or anything- it'd be awesome to see a villain native to Termina.

Perhaps not Termina, but at least some other location in the 3D zelda world. Termina's Ikana Canyon was amazing, and should be emulated in a different locale, but putting Termina into the game isn't necessary.

Personally, I think the masks should be brought back. They were an amazingly unique and awesomely creative part of MM, and brought life to the entire thing.

Another Termina-based game would be interesting, though... are you thinking of maybe a Majora's Mask 2 or something?

I think that seeing Termina in a game would be nice. Maybe make some quest that starts out with the pirate fortress then maybe go somewhere else.

Bring Termina back would mainly only cause problems with the actual timeline.

More like a separate game utilizing that world to take a breather from Hyrule.

What is up with all these unoriginal threads? Does every single member here lack any kind of imagination?

Doesn't anyone want something new instead of just getting settings, characters, plot, items and gameplay? One of the things that made Termina so great is the fact that it was so uinque compared to Hyrule! Making another game with the same land would just take away all the magic.

As much as I love Termina I too would rather go somewhere completley new and fresh. I want a new land, I think in a way it should be similer to Termina or at least have a place like Clocktown but on a much larger scale. That's what i'd like anyway.

Termina was great but, as others have stated, is it really worth bringing it back? Especially since it was designed to be an alternate version of Hyrule. We need a new world to explore me thinks; one with less parallels to good old Hyrule.

yeah i think they should definitely consider doing something based on the masks again.
termina wasnt all that much different to hyrule field apart from termina being smaller.
ikana canyon was an interesting place. the castle and temple at ikana was so fun to do

Well... it looks like we may be drifting from Hyrule. PH Link and Tetra are looking for a "New Hyrule" I believe it was said. This could open up many options as far as terrain and new ideas go.

No, Termina does not need to come back. Majora's Mask was the complete story of Termina.

New Land yes
Hyrule it gets old, but it's a staple
Termina has been taken care. it is and should remain a one game land.

It's actually strange that Nintendo hasn't considered moving Link to a different place; other than Hyrule. They've done it for 2D, so why not for 3D? All it would require is a little creativity and uniqueness, and a random name pulled out of a bag.

Termina isn't like Hyrule at all.

I don't think Termina should return. Everything about that world, it's people, geography, and mythology, is very closely tied to the story and moral of Majora's Mask.

not me. Personaly, MM was my least favorite game in the series and the further they move the franchise away from "Termina" the better off it will be.
