PSP Zelda?

Who thinks that they should make an OoT and a MM for PSP? It would be cool if everything was the same but it had multiplayer like you do the story but you can see everyone else and you can chat. I personally think that would be awesome!

although i think it would be sweet, i wouldnt like it if zelda came out on a sony platform, ive already got oot on my psp anyways, using a 64 emulator, of coure i have the original cartridge too, so im not illegally playing it, unless playing emulators on the psp is illegal, which i dont think it is, i remember sony saying, basicly, its not recommended and theyre not responsible if it bricks

Quite honestly, when was the last time you saw a Nintendo character on a non-Nintendo system? I doubt that'll ever happen. Shouldn't this be in Future Zelda or General Zelda?

The last time I saw that was when link was on soul caliber (I think)
Otherwise it would have been on the CD-i, the crappiest game ever...

Link only popped up in the Soul Calibur II for the GameCube. The XBox and Playstation 2 versions each had their own exclusive characters- Todd McFarlane's comic book character Spawn was the Xbox exclusive, and Heihachi Mishima was the Playstation 2 exclusive.

I've never played soul caliber, I just heard link was in it at one time and so I thought I would mention it.

There's a chance of that happening, but in a decade. Remember Sonic? If you told me a decade and a half ago that he'd be in a Nintendo platform, I would think you were an idiot. But look at the world now.

thats because sega went under, im not saying it couldnt happen to nintendo, but i sorta doubt nintendo will go under within the next decade, unless the wii or nintendo in general just take a turn for the worst and sales plummet, besides nintendo's been around for well over a century, from making playing cards to toys to lightguns, and now video games

You can play alot of the Zelda games on the PSP, providing you have the proper tools and know how. I even have some hacked ISO's that will let you play Zelda on the Dreamcast...

As for Nintendo ever allowing Sony to do this legally, I doubt it.

Zelda is a first-party game produced by Nintendo. Neither Sony nor any third-party game developer can legally produce a Zelda title. Do you honestly think the Big N would sell the rights to it? Come on, people. Seriously. They can easily reach the same demographic and more without addressing other consoles. There's no conceivable reason (from Nintendo's perspective) to make a Zelda for any platform but their own. The series is meant to be exclusive, anyway. It's their big hitter and their trump card.

I'm sorry, but this thread is too retarded to be kept open. We'd rather get these on the DS, I'm sure of it. Think about it. Zelda is practically Nintendo's most popular video game series.

nintendo already shared the rights for zelda with philips, and as far as i know, if philips ever makes another console(i doubt it) then they could still put a zelda game on their console... as far as i know

Why? One: PSP pails in comparison to the DS. The controls are crampped and it seems, as this even suggests, that every good game is just a fricken console port. Everyone I know just watches movies on it.

Nintendo would never grace sony with a game unless nintendo cut there console team in the future and just did handhelds. Then, I would suppose, it would create console games on other systems.

But, there is this thing called the Wii that is looking like it is going to be the most popular system period in this generation. Give it 6 months and it will pass 360 in sales alone.

So... not happening, and if it did it is slapping the DS in the face. They could release it on DS< after all, the released mario 64.

Zelda on the PSP would be a disaster.
