Zelda + Final Fantasy = ?

Hmmmmm, what would Zelda be like if combined with Final Fantasy...?
My two faveorite gameing franchises combined!

I belive it would be kind of like Golden Sun, with puzzle elements and turned based battles.

(No I dont think it would actually happen!)

Bad idea, mixing RPG with action puzzle based game

also, the turn-based program would kind of ruin the Zelda part, and also, it would just destroy the items, puzzle and strategyh parts of the game

Hrm.........I think, well it wouldnt be as good because I don't think a Zelda RPG where you have to lvl up to do something wouldnt be as fun as roaming Hyrule as a hero thats set off on a quest to save Hyrule

yeah, it would be a disaster.. for me anyways, i dont really like ff because of the turn based battle system, i cant stand that, but i think that leveling up could be cool because you could have something extra to work at, maxing out stats and becoming powerful as hell!

I've never played Final Fatasy *don't shoot me*, so I really can't say. I think it'd basically be something like Hidden Triforce.

Allow me to put it this way.

Zelda=Good, Action Adventure, Real Time
Final Fantasy=Good, RPG, Turn Based (although I think they switched it up with the last game)

Too much good = a whole lotta bad.

Action Adventure not mix with RPG

Real Time+Turn Based= has worked for others would not work here.

Besides, I don't think Nintendo will be giving the Zelda rights to Square anytime soon. (they'd have to be beyond desperate to do that)

While I do like FF, it would suck. This is a worse FF combination than Kingdom Hearts was. There is no way Nintendo and Square Enix would combine anyway.

I think it would be bad for my opinion because I hate turn base games.

Perhaps more like untold legends and Zelda.

Zelda + Final Fantasy = a turn-based Zelda game that you can collect all of the most rigged swords in the game, essencially taking away from the experience.

Sorry, I don't think that it would work out. Zelda was just never made to be turn-based.

I think an LOZ storyline with FF gameplay wouldn't be a good idea. Part of what makes LOZ fun for me is that it's just the one lone guy going around on his quest.

A standard LOZ game with a FF-type storyline might be fun, though.

The Mana series is like a FF, Zelda mix. Its not too shabby either, but it does go to show how Zelda is perfect in the way it does things.

I agree to this, that Final Fantasy and Zelda are my two favorite games, but to me, they just won't mix.
Putting Final Fantasy in there.....well....how WOULD they mix in with the story? They just can't.
Besides, Final Fantasy is "turn-based combat", where Zelda is "run up and cut them to pieces" combat. Zelda CAN'T be turn-based, it just wouldn't work out...

Zelda + Final Fantasy = Disaster

I just want to point out the Paper Mario series. I mean who would have thought that Mario would have worked as a turn baised RPG, but they did it and it works. So I wouldn't count out a Zelda RPG.
