I'm visiting Japan. Should I buy the Tingle RPG?

Hey all.

I am going to be in Japan for a while, and I am wondering if I should buy the Tingle RPG here or hold out for a US release. Of course, I'd prefer to play the game in English, but do you guys think it will ever be released in America? Did it get released in Europe? I tried looking these things up but was not very successful. So, does anybody have any news on the game, or any theories on an American release? Thank you for helping!

It's very fun, but it can be kind of hard to get past the language barrier.

No the release of an English localised version is STILL unconfirmed. If I were there, personally I would buy it, even if I had to get it again at a later date. But that is just me....

But the question was should they buy TINGLE RPG over there, nothing to do with Phantom Hourglass.

From all the "fun" I had with the Tingle Tuner in WW, I'd say the game will be better if you can't understand the words, Mr. Fairy.

There's a lot of humour in the game though, DivineDragoon. I've had a friend of mine translate a few phrases of areas where I was just completely lost, and it's a bit of a crude and amusing game at times in terms of the content in there.

The graphics are very bright and fun as well, it's well worth the buy if you've got a bit of money spare.

I mean, there's currently no confirmed date for Tingle RPG, and Cake (Nintendo UK's PR agency) won't confirm anything about the game. As such, I can't see an English release date for a long time yet.

that would be MISS fairy, thanks. some of us can appreciate the creativity and originality of the tingle character and enjoy his games rather than being afraid of what others will think of us for liking such a guy, and attacking those who do.

From someone who owns the game I would say it is totally worth the money. A great game. A fun one too.

Awesome Mafoofoo, when did you manage to get your hands on it?
Is there alot of text in game? Or can it still be enjoyed with being able to read Japanese?

Uh when it came out....I do live in Japan........The text amount is ok and I think even if you don't know Japanese it's still fun.

I would buy it, just ijn case it does not come ut in America.
