should future games incorperate masks from MM?

Do you think it would be a good idea to bring back the mask from Majora's mask and incorperate it into a future game? I know it sounds like a sequel/remake but what are your thoughts on this? or Think of how they could be used in the newer games like WW or TP.

I think the next Zelda game should have some masks as a sidequest.
Not all of them and no transforming either.
Maybe just the bunny-hood along with some new ones.
Around four or five just like in OoT.

Aww! i liked the transforming masks! the could cover terains that normal link couldn't. But the bunny hood is a must-have in newer games.

So did I of course.
But if it had transforming masks then it would be too similar.

yeah, i geuss this is time for a change. but some very useful ones( bunny hood, gibido mask(talking to zombies was cool)) should stay.

I'd love to see masks incorporated into future games.
Even if they don't do anything, it'd be great if they included at least one or 2 you could wear just for the hell of it. Masks were one of my favorite parts of Ocarina of Time, when you can put different masks that do absolutely nothing, yet people react to you differently, which was often a device to put some more plot into motion.

I don't think they should return.

I liked the masks as much as the next gamer, but they only really fit into MM. If they're brought back, we'll have people who want the Ocarina of Time to return, or the Wind Waker, or Ezlo, and before you know it the Zelda series will degenerate into a cycle of remaking older games.

I'd like to see masks return, but they'd have to freshen up the delivery of it in order for it to not just sound like a rehash of Majora's Mask or the mask sidequest of Ocarina of Time.

For instance... on the Great Sea, the Koroks have masks. Perhaps a sidequest wherein pirates steal Korok masks and you have to go get them and return them to the right Korok... and at the end, you are awarded with a Korok mask of your own, that would give you some upgrade of some sort. Rito funeral masks... they just need to be extremely creative with it, and probably not make it the focus of the game.

Yeah! I think that would be cool! They should go back to Termina and add a few more masks as well. I also think they should have a few more transforming masks as well, but I'm not sure that there are too many more races which Link could possibly become unless it was in Adult Link's timeline!

Majora's Mask is essentially known for its huge extended choice of Masks, and I utterly don't want Nintendo to ruin that.

I personally would say no, just on the basis that it's been done before. I'd rather have something new and quirky to get involved with. I mean, maybe like one or two masks but literally just as a sly nod to MM.

if it ends up like that, they should have some of the most useful masks like the bunny hood. Some things that could help you.

Yeah maybe, the bunny hood would be one of the most obvious because it rocks but even so, I don't think it should feature as the main game, just a prize or something. Perhaps even a Happy Maskman mask, that would be interesting but only as a easter egg kind of thing.

i think it would be a good idea i loved the mask from MM. just they should be able to make the Deity mask useable in any area's of the game... i was disapointed when i put it on in the game and i couldnt control my charictar...

you can do that with an action replay and the gamecube version of it! you are like a foot taller than the tallest npc in the game! (hint: the gaurds in clocktown)

I'm with you there. TWW graphics were not the most... pleasing graphics to look at.

No. Future Zelda games should incorperate new ideas instead of rehashing old ones.

No. The masks were unique to that one game, and it should stay that way.
