Taking New Steps in 3D: Dancing Link?

In the 2D game OoS, he did a rhythm game where he danced. Din the Oracle of Seasons also did a little jig. Personally, I would not mind seeing a break-dancing Hylian. I mean, Darunia in OoT got to get down: why shouldn't our hero muster up the courage to get his groove on?

Hmmm... That would be cool and weird to have dancing. But in MM you got a mask that lets you dance.

That was dancing? It was more like exercise programs for really old people. I mean stuff that really shows off your stuff, with flips and things like that. Not waving your arms around. That was just weird.

Nah, surely breakdancing isn't Link's style. He needs to be more casual, sure, but he has to remain faithful to what he's meant to be.

No dancing! The guy holds items over his head whenever he gets em. He needs to preserve some dignity.

BECAUSE YOU LACK FUNKAPATION
Link needs to let his hair down once in a while. I mean, c'mon, in TP, he was frowning his way through most of the dungeons. He only cracked a smile when he got stuff. He needs to loosen up, or he'll die of stress.

When I say dancing, I mean mini-game. It would be fun to control Link's dance steps with the Wii-mote, wouldn't it? Some back flips for the ladies? A couple hand-stands? Work with me, people.

I like that idea, Wolflink12.

However, I think we are leaving out one thing. GORONS. Everybody knows Gorons like to get funky. A dance-off mini-game would be hilarious, although I think it would only fit in the more lighthearted games.

Re: Taking New Steps in 3D: Dancing Link?

If he ever dances, it needs to be comedic...like the dance for the original Zelda japanese commercial. Amazing.
