Zelda needs free form fighting

TP came very close to something like this but fell short. I've heard people wanting Nintendo to improve the combat system, and I believe this is the way forward. If you are not familiar with what I am saying, if you've played any Prince of Persia games, espeically Two Thrones (or Rival Swords, as its known on the Wii), these are perfect examples of Free Form fighting systems done very well. For the next Zelda, I would love to be able to seamlessly link together complexed sword combo attacks.

What do you think?

Zelda Wii is on the Adult timeline. When Link placed the Mastersword Back in the pedestal (After OOT) It returned with him to the child timeline. That's why the spirit of the Mastersword (Fairy Girl) is all that remains.

I don't like Prince of Persia that much. It's ok, but I don't want Zelda to be like that. Zelda isn't a brawler or anything, it's about exploration, and using different items. I think that combat could be improved, and made more challenging, but I don't think it should turn into a game where you fly around cutting off heads and linking up 49650 slashes before screwing up by tapping a button with the wrong rythm. Link's only human.

That would be an ok idea but not to much like prince of Persia, I think they should just make the combat more challenging like lordandyofx said.

Re: Zelda needs free form fighting

Im not saying to make the game like Prince of Persia, im talking about the system it uses as an example. And also, its not about making a rhythm when linking up combos in PoP. Your combo can end anywhere.
