Re: New monsters
Great job, finally the right category.
Hokay. So. I've been playing around with new ideas for monsters, doodling them everywhere, the deranged kind of person I am. I think it would be great if there were more variety in monsters. Enemies in Zelda games always get re-used, although some new ones are created, not much. That would be great if there was a "Trickchest" enemy, where you think it's a chest, but once you get near it, it sprouts teeth and a tongue and attacks. Though it has been used in games before, I'd like to see how it was created in the minds of the Zelda developers.

I have thought up many monsters like the deku nut but what I thought was a good idea was in TP the recreated the helmasaur and made it 3DI have also a couple of enemies like the lava zora, the water goron, the fire stalfos, the silver keese, (hence the fire and ice keese and fre, ice and silver arrows so what about another keese) evil tingle. and thats it.

Re: New monsters
I'd like to see an underwater counterpart of a darknut.
Serpentfos- A humanoid serpent with a long tail equiped with armor and a trident. There are two strategies. 1) Come to the surface and clawshot him when he is close. Then backslice or counterattack before he swims back in the water. 2) Dodge his attacks and swim to his tail. Use the grab option and equip the iron boots to submerge him to the bottom. Strike him while he is stunned. |

Re: New monsters
I, too, liked the way the Helmasaur was recreated into 3d.
I also like that Serpantfos idea. They should have shark-type things, if they don't already. Twilight Sharks.

Re: New monsters
Here is a list.
Stalgoroks-Dragonic skeletons that can only be killed with bomb arrows. Leckos-Camoflauged gecko like enemies that shoot poison barbs and reside on walls. Think of a skullwalluta but invisible. Deku wasps-A very large red wasp. Comes from an infinitely spawning hive that can be burned down. Octoroks (revised)-Looks like an oktorok that is covered with a cone shell, like a hermet crab. Shell can only be broken by deflected rocks. Dragon Head-A stone gragon head embedded in the wall or on a door. Breathes fire when close. Can be desrtoyed with a thrown bomb in its mouth. Floor master (revised)-It will start as a shadow of the disambodied hand that we all know. It will slowly creep toward you and pull you under to the dungeons begining when the shadow reaches you. To kill it shoot the shadow with an arrow to bring it out and whack it with the sword. The shadow can also climb behind celiengs and doors. More will come later. |

Re: New monsters
I really don't care if they add more monsters, since I hate them all anyway.
Still, an enemy that looks like a weasel. Ah, I'd laugh my ass off.
