It's Zelda in Futuristic times, they have conecept art and everything. It is obvious that it's an April Fools joke. But here you go!

From the time we received the very first images of this project, we questioned its legitimacy and wondered what all of this could mean. However, as more and more material fell into our laps, we realized just how lucky we were here at Wii.TV to be taking the first looks at such a groundbreaking game at this stage of its development. After carefully checking our anonymous source’s references and background, we can confirm this to all be in the works, and we are taking it upon ourselves to show you what we have been fortunate enough to see. It is quite possible that after release of this, we may never see another piece of information again. However, we feel that, even in these early stages, what you are about to see is so powerful, that the excitement it will generate within you is enough for us to take that risk. Make sure to listen to Episode Three of Wii Radio for extra info on this ground breaking title.

There is a Coca-Cola ad about 2:53 minutes in. That is proof it's a joke.

Yeah, it wouldn't work IMO.

Though, it is obviously fake, that would make an awesome (non-Zelda) game.

As I said in the other thread (ahem) I recognizsed a lot of the images they showed, they're all from Deviant Art.

i saw this on another thread and i thought it was real... i'm really gullible...

i really want this to be for real, but the more i see the video or read about it, the more it all seems like a big AFJ (apr fools joke)

I honestly liked the concept. I knew it was fake at first, but I couldn't stop picuring Zelda in a futuristic theme. I think It'd be quite cool actually

Was I the only one (even though it was obviously fake) that thought the idea was cool? The whole thing seemed kind of awesome to me! Futuristic Zelda sounds quite nifty, to tell you the truth. Link with a machine gun would be the tightest thing ever.

This would just be eww if it were real. No futuristic Zelda. The day that happens is the day I stop playing Zelda games.

Do these people not realize April fools day is April 1st? Pulling an April fools day joke before the first of the month is lame.

I try to avoid looking at any info on the net whilst in the April 1st vacinity to avoid falling for these things. But it's entertaining to watch the people that do believe them.

I wouldn't suggest giving up all Zelda games together, because whatever products come out in the future should not soil your enjoyment of past game you've loved.

While you can obviously choose not to play a new Zelda game, I wouldn't suggest you stop playing your other ones because the new one is not to your liking. They are different games after all, even if they are in the same franchise.

It might not become a futuristic Zelda game, but the idea might bring some new things to mind for Nintendo (if they agree to doing whatever they would have planned XD).

I kinda thought this was a joke when I saw it. But wouldn't it be cool if Zelda did go from Medieval to the technologically advanced society. I kinda thought it would be cool, but no one would agree to it I guess. Concept art was pretty awesome, by the way.

Star wars in medieval times would too be cool. It'd be like Stargate when they get trapped on a planet that isn't as developed as us. Link in the future would be awesome too. Like there would be sages and stuff that have survived all the ages and blend in with society and you have to try and find them and get them to talk and stuff, and like temples are hidden in a big city and nobody even knows about them. Like down in the sewers there's a room that leads in to a temple or something and it was hidden there ages ago when they built the city, and it could be like the Under the Well except with heaps of years added on. So he's in the future but he's uncovering things from the past to save the city from Ganondorf. And the Zora could have turned feral in the water system and you have to get em back to good and everyone thinks they're some alien but they've actually been living there all along. And the gorons don't know that they're gorons they just think theyr really big dark people and everyone looks at em like that but turns out THAT WOOSH they have mega strength and theyr like woe and then they have to realise their full potential. Could be something, eh?
