Zelda's Disguises
In past games, Zelda has had to disguise herself several times for her own well being or for some other reasons. So far, Zelda has appeared in two games like this. As Sheik in Ocarina of Time, she was a Sheikah, a race much like a ninja, and taught you songs in order to advance. As Tetra in Wind Waker, she was a pirate, and helped you on your quest to save your sister, and later Hyrule.
What do you think Zelda's next disguise should be? Should it be something completely new, or something like one of these again?

Re: Zelda's Disguises
I don't think Tetra was a disguise; she didn't know she was royal, after all, and reverts back to a snarky pirate after Ganondorf is defeated. Tetra's Tetra.
Something completely new, but relevant to the game. Without a setting for a new game (Tetra's in Phantom Hourglass, and we don't know about the next Wii Zelda), it's hard to think of one.

She is robed for whatever reason in TP, though I don't know why. I theorise that she's hiding her twilight form, which happens to be humanoid, but I have no evidence for that.

Re: Zelda's Disguises
I've got an idea about Tetra. All royal princesses are supposed to be named Zelda, correct? Well, somewhere along the line that must've been forgotten when she was named Tetra. When she was revealed to be a princess, she was given her "Zelda" form, as that's who she was supposed to look like and be named. So, instead of Zelda being in a Tetra disguise, it was almost the other way around.
For the TP cloak, I think that was being symbolic of her being defeated. Her kingdom was overtaken, and it wouldn't really fit for her to still look like a princess in such harsh times. Although, her having a Twilight form would make sense... I mean, why would she still be in a human form amid the Twilight? Link had to be transformed into a sacred beast in order for him to not become a spirit. And the next disguise? I think it'd be funny if she dressed up like Link for some reason. |
