Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

I'm not seeing a lot of enthusiasm for this one. Is everyone kind of burnt out from TP excitement? . Or is there a general disinterest for yet another GB Zelda?

I, for one, am quite excited! I've always enjoyed the handheld Zelda's. And I'm quite interested to see how PH will tie into TWW, seeing as though it's, apparently, a continuance from that game.

I'm interested to hear how everyone feels about the newest addition soon to be released. Hopefully there are some of you that are awaiting for PH to hit the shelves!

Phantom Hourglass is for the DS. And I'm not a big fan of WW so i don't really care about this game. I'll eventually play it though.

Which I consider a GB. It is handheld.

Regardless of how much I like or dislike a Zelda game, I'll still try and play it. Although, I'm still puttering my way through MM. Three years so far....

Re: Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

DS is very different from a Gameboy, so shouldn't be considered one. And because of that, Phantom Hourglass will be very different from earlier handheld Zelda's. PH should be (and probably will be) praised for being an all-new different type of Zelda.

I'm eagerly waiting for it too; however, I can wait since I don't have money for it and I'm saving up for TP for Wii and DKR DS.

I can't wait for this game. A 3-D portable Zelda, what's not to love. And again no Ganondorf so we get to see an entirely new villain. Huzzah

Re: Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

I can't wait, got a DS soon as I could after I heard it was coming out.

PS Villian could be Vaati, although highly doubtful.
PPS It's 2D with 3D sprites (2.5D)

Re: Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

Personally I can't ever wait for new Zelda games to come out, I always book a couple of days off work just so i can live zelda without the hassel of real life interupting me lol! I have really high hopes for PH. I really want it to be longer than WW. I have confidence in what the big N will do with this DS version.

Not really since I don't have a DS. I like that you can make notes on the screen though. It might help if there is a water temple

Re: Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

Yes for three reasons.
1: 3D zelda on a portable system.
2: WW was my favorite zelda game.
3: It's a zelda game.

Just wondering, when exactly is it supposed to be released?
I'm replaying Wind Waker with the regular clothes now, it'd be cool if Phantom Hourglass came out soon

Re: Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

Oh, I want to play it, alright... but I'm not rushing over to preorder it. I've had bad experience with preordering, is all. Besides, somehow, this game hasn't excited me as much as previous ones.

Perhaps I need to watch some PH videos...

Re: Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

I'm looking forward to playing it but I don't have a DS in the first place, and I'm not sure if the game will please my expectatives. I didn't like WW, but i'm willing to give this one a chance

I'm looking forward to it - looks visually brilliant and being a Zelda game it should have fantastic gameplay.

Re: Is anyone eagerly awaiting Phantom Hourglass?

i really really want to get PH. i have absolutely nothing to play anymore, that and it's a zelda game which in general takes more than two weeks, except for MC. i was excited when i saw the case it was coming in and for about half a second i thought it was already coming out and i was gonna buy it. i was disappointed quickly. oh well.

How come? Is it the style or story that you don't like?

I think the graphical style was a brilliant move myself as it meant a new set of gamers where opened up to Zelda - my girlfriend for instance didn't like the other Zelda games as she felt they wanted to be real, and the problem of trying to do "reality" is that the graphical style can date quickly.

She got into Zelda via TWW, and now is playing TP on the Gamecube. The great thing about a franchise like Zelda is the room for variety
