NO GAMECUBE ZELDA???

TP for gamecube might not even come out i went to eb games and they said nintendo stopped making gamecube versions and that only people with preorders is gonna get it. They also said that nintendo wants to make it a wii exculsive i think it isn't fair.

Funny, mine's sitting on my DVD/game rack.

Wow you guys are lucky do you think if I don't have any money presently I will still be able to get it for GC. Cuz I don'y have any money presently.

It will still come out for Game Cube, but it will still cost $50 at most places that sell it.

I have mine right now. It is out today.

I have to wait to get it. The nearest Gamestop has me concerned with their "no release date" statement though.

I know for a 100% that this is a lie. Why may you ask? Because I playing TP on GC right as we speak...

Its a LIEMy friend is playing TP already...and she didn't preorder it!! Its just a huge LIE!!!

You see, i would pay 100$ for my copy of TP. Hell I am sick of waiting for it.

But see, if nintendo would do that it would only piss of there fans. If they announced that it would be TP exclusive about 6 months ago, it would have been ok(still alot of anger, but not as much) You see it just NOW do that would be completely insane.

Now, they may make limited copies. Makes sense actualy, why continue producing games for a console thats almost dead?

But they wont just make enough for the pre-orders, because they know if they do that they will wont get as much money. Odds are the people who are getting a GC version cant afford a Wii and TP. So they are going to have to wait awhile and let prices drop. So they will continue making the games for awhile, but it will eventualy slow down until its stops.(but thats only after most people actualy get it)

Actualy i have no idea if this even makes sense.

Personaly I just think I am in denial!

So how many of you that have the GC version had it preordered?

Oh and dont listen to anything that doesnt come from Nintendo. Because odds are they just saying that to get you off their backs. Anything that doesn't come from nintendo should be considered as Rumor until its heard from Nintendo.

The nearest Gamestop has me concerned with their "no release date" statement though.

I have experienced the exact same thing from the site I pre-ordered from. There is something weird going on, no doubt.

I have it and I didn't preorder. There were a lot of copies, so much so that I don't even think they'll completely sell out before they get a new shipment in at the place I got it at.

I am probably going to find another 10-11 dollars or so and go down to my local game store, or a store that sells games tommorrow and see if they got any left.

Well I picked mine up. I called to ask if they had any in. I haven't played it yet (shocking I know!), but I'm deciding which TV to hook my Cube up to (I so wish I had a TV Tuner card... I'd hook my Cube to my PC) & I'm waiting until after we get back from shopping later tonight. So I probably won't get around to playing it till nearly 1 AM or after my doctor's appointment tomorrow.

By the way, there were a lot of copies of Twilight Princess in the drawer, but some could have been for the Wii as well.

The store I pre-ordered from hasnt contacted me since the 4th of december, and they told me then that there was 'no current release date for Australia and New Zealand'. So all I can assume is that Nintendo has not even confirmed if they are going to release here or not! Some people have told me otherwise, but nobody has actully confirmed it for me. If someone knows when Twilight Prinecess for Gamecube is being released in New Zealand, tell me. You are absolutly right, this site is terrible because they have not made contact. Im going to follow your advice and do all I can to get a copy.

Ah yes, sorry for assuming you lived in North America! I guess that's what happens when it doesn't say where you live under your username haha. From what I've heard Nintendo loves giving people from Australia and New Zealand the shaft when it comes to game releases, that's hardly the way to treat fans. I guess all you can do is be patient, and harass the place you preordered at until they finally have concrete news.

And about the "no more preorder, no gamecube zelda" statements, it might be as simple as - Nintendo couldn't make enough copies for everyone around the world so far for GC. So naturally, they stopped the line-up/preorders just so that they can have the next batch of shipments ready.

No preorder=no get on release date, not no get period (i think they wait til after Christmas so they no have to put on sale)
