The wierdest Idea for the next Zelda

I really hope that the next Zelda counsel won't have Ganon or Ganondorf in it. It would be awesome to see it out in just a couple of years like MM followed OoT (they would have to use the same graphic engine as TP or WW) So anyway the point of this thread is to come up with the weirdest plot lines you can think of for the next Zelda (we don't need a whole fan fiction here) just the plot line and key elements along with graphic style.
I am hoping for the next counsel Zelda to go in the direction as MM did off of OoT. I'm not saying I want a MM remake, but I want the new game to directly follow TP and have really nothing to do with Hyrule or the Triforce, but somthing completely new. And weird.

One of my weird ideas is:
Graphic style: both ww and tp
General Plot: It starts off with ww graphics and link and Tetra are talking about the legend and it sort of flashes back to before hyrule was flooded (tp graphics) and some how there is a link between the flashback (tp graphics) and what is going on in the present (ww graphics) like when link and tetra sail into a new region, they hear the story of a hero (past link) and what he did and certain things trigger flashbacks.

eh I'm not that creative, and I don't really want that to happen. It wouldn't really be a sequel to TP and it just seems like there is no way it would work, but it doesn't have to So what are some of your ideas?

But GANON IS AWESOME! May as well keep him. That's my opinion.

Yes ganon is awesome, but guess what is going to happen if ganon is in the game? Zelda will be in it too and your going to have to save her and hyrule again. That's great and all, but they can't make every game like that, and they haven't...so if ganon and zelda weren't in it what would happen?

Wow never thought of that. Huh maybe they should change it.

not permentley. I'm not saying ganon and zelda would be cast away forever lol. Just like Majora's Mask. It didn't have Zelda (if you don't count the flashback) or ganon in it and was completely new, but the next game they made (Wind Waker) was back to the old tradition of Zelda Link and Ganondorf.

Oh well that might be fine. Majora's Mask was awesome.

Re: The wierdest Idea for the next Zelda

What I want to see is actually a bit of an OoT remake. Not just taking the original game, freshening up the controls and graphics, and shooting it out as a new game. What I want to see is a whole re-imagining of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Graphic style would be... like a 3-D translation of OoT's official art. Y'know, Link in-game would look more or less exactly like he did in OoT's official art.

The story would be rewritten. It'd be the same story, just with better dialogue. No matter how good the game's story would be, I think it could seriously be written better for today's standards. Actually, I'd like the game to follow a lot from not just the original OoT, but from the official manga too. I read a translated version on the web somewhere, and it was really good. I'd like the story to be like that.

Gameplay would have new features, too. Maybe a bigger Hyrule, and add in that horseback combat because that rocked quite a bit in Twilight Princess. The dungeons would be basically updates of their original versions, but possibly add a second quest where the dungeons are remixed, and a third quest where even the layout is different.

Enemies should be harder. they should do more damage, and have smarter AI. Bosses would be harder too, making you think of a rather complex strategy to taking them down, and also making them last longer. I want bosses that are a real threat to your progress. Zelda bosses as of recent games have been too easy. Even the final battle in Twilight Princess wasn't that hard.

Music? Orchestrated. Fully orchestrated recordings. Nintendo needs to do away with the archaic MIDI format they've been clinging to for too long. Orchestrated, like new re-imaginings of OoT's classic scores. Ocarina songs could be professionally done by actual recordings of a real ocarina. The organ music you hear Ganondorf playing as you ascend Ganon's Tower at the end would be from a real organ. Gerudo Valley would be done with real guitars, brass, and the clapping in the background be real. Just a few examples.

I also think voice acting would be appropriate this time around. Dialogue will be spoken during cutscenes and cinematics, but in gameplay it would remain as just text with a few soundbytes here and there. Like if you just walk up to someone and talk to them, it'll be all text, and depending on what they say there might be a little byte to go with it. But if you, say, complete the Water Temple, Ruto will actually speak, with text so you can catch what she's saying. Afterwards, you'll of course hear Sheik speaking too after that scene.
Of course, Link will never utter a word. Or rather, he will say only one word. Link will say his name to Zelda, and only once. (Technically, he did in the original OoT. When Zelda asked his name for the first time, Link simply said "Link." How do I know he said it? If any other character said it, the text would be white. This one time the text was green.)
Voice acting would need to be top notch. I don't want it ending up like the CD-i Zeldas. I mean, hire professional voice talent, and not making everything sound really cheesy unless its intended to sound that way. Voice acting can be done well in a Zelda game. Fable managed to do it, and Fable is pretty much Zelda with RPG customization and moral choices, so why can't Zelda incorporate its own proper voice acting?

So that's the future Zelda game I would like to see. It is a little bit weird when you think about it, since most of the time people think of an OoT remake to look more dark, and realistic, whereas I want it to resemble more a direct adaptation of the game's official art, with brighter colors in a bit more of an anime fantasy style. Also, I included voice acting, which a whole lot of people seem to be against.
Maybe to show that the game is a remake and not just a port, they could maybe change the name slightly. Maybe call it Hero of Time instead of Ocarina of Time. Or just give it the same name, and a "sub-subtitle", like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: The Re-imagining. Or something much less campy, since the names I suggested have so much camp you could almost pitch a tent on them.
