PH pushed back to October of 2007?

In the recent Game Informer magazine, they have reported that PH will be coming out October 15, 2007. Nintendo has not confirmed this, but it is something to think about.

This happens to many games, I am not surprised. In fact, I have a feeling Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Galaxy will be pushed back to 2008.

Well that is one thing that Nintendo is good at. Delaying games.

I don't think Super Smash is going to be delayed. Since it is being made by Hal and not Nintendo. Or are they both working on it??

The same reason why they delayed TP by an entire YEAR. Because it's not ready...simple as that. Apparently, Nintendo has revamped the controls and done a complete overhaul. A lot of people didn't like controlling Link with the stylus, so I have a feeling they either took that out of the game, or put in an option to control Link with the D-pad instead.

Or they might drop the design and start over like they did with WW.

Since PH is supposed to be a sequel to WW, or at the very least share WW's design, I doubt that they dropped the design and started over.

accually, TP was ready last year. they just delayed it so that they could add wii functions and release it with the wii.

so unless there is a new handhold nintendo on plan and they are goinf to release PH with it instead, its not the same reason.

More delays? We just got done waiting for TP!

I'd rather wait longer for a good game than play a glitchy/wacked out half decent one. The waiting for Wii thing kind of stunk, especially since I can't afford a Wii and have to wait even longer for the GC version, but if they need more development time, what are we going to do?

Nope, your wrong. Nintendo themselves have said that TP was very unorganized, and a lot of the game was finished, but lacking focus, and direction. They needed extra time to work everything out and put all of the ideas together cohesively. Nintendo even said that they didn't start on the Wii controls until THIS year. The game was delayed LAST year, so that proves that the Wii version was not the only reason for the delay.

Zora fisherman, PH had a Q4 2006 release date listed on Nintendo's official site. So Ph is getting the TP treatment...a one year delay.

I just need an excuse to get a DS... I like going for the gold, but must we wait for years on end for every Zelda?

Why can't they finish the game then give us the news?

I think Nintendo always announces a Zelda game one year too early. The wait is always so long, because they announce the game way too early in development, and they always delay the games. If they waited until the game was in a decent stage of development, instead of the beginning stages, the wait wouldn't be so long.

The wait would be exactly the same whether Nintendo tells sooner or later . It's just that because Nintendo releases information such as the development of new Zelda; we then know that the game has been in development for a while. So the wait seems longer.

But the waits always longer, and more grueling, when you know the game is in development. If we don't know, then the wait won't be as bad.

It's all about anticipation and desire. Your wating to get out of school, it seemingly takes forever. Not waiting for anything, time flies... unless your bored.
