DS Player For The Wii?

Since Nintendo came out with a GB player for the GC do you think they will somehow come out with a DS player for the Wii? The only reason I kept my GC after getting a Wii was for the GB player feature. Also i think it would be cool to play DS games on the TV like PH.

That wouldn't be such a great idea. Unless the Wii comes out with a remote that has two touch screens (which isn't going to happen) and was similar to the DS (due to the gameplay style of most, if not, all DS games); it'd practically be impossible.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Yeah, I wish they would so I could buy PH without buying a DS; expensive

But I don't think it'll happen.

You would get to pictures on the tv...and you'd have to watch the ds with the touchscreen...this is not gonna happen...but you could buy a madcatz adapter for gba that you put in the mmorycardslot

Re: DS Player For The Wii?

Despite the fact that the Wii controller could be used as a stylus, the Wii would be unable to play most of the DS games on the market. The DS is meant to revolutionize handheld gaming, and the Wii is meant to revolutionize console gaming. Let's just leave the two as they are. Besides, the GameBoy Player was really meant for recording speedruns of GBA games. With the DS, you can get a device, which I presume goes into the GBA slot, that records what happens on the top and bottom screen. There's really no need for a DS player on the Wii, which is an impossibility already.
