Re: Countdown to Twilight Princess on Gamecube

It's more like 13 days until it's out.. I believe December 12th is the release date in North America anyway. That is the most recent date given out. I think on Nintendo.com it says 11th, but it says 12.12.06 on the official Zelda website which was updated more recently.

is it true that they well make a limited amount of GC versions?

cauz I'm going to be pissed, if all the copies were sold out.

Re: Countdown to Twilight Princess on Gamecube

Hopefully Gamestop will call in advance when they get their shipment in... 'cause the last time their site listed a date for the game was the 13th. I'd much rather get it the 11th or 12th but I'll have no choice if I get it the 13th. If it does, it'll be such a busy day for me.

Re: Countdown to Twilight Princess on Gamecube

I hope they dont make a limited supply of GC versions... Or if they do they should make enough to last about a month or 2 after the GC stops having games for it.(I still see some new games coming for the GC)

But if they make a small limited amount for the GC and then stop... I will be pissed. I almost have enough for a Wii... I am about 30-50 dollars short. But then I still need to get TP.

Oh well, I can just get TP for GC off of Ebay.

Re: Countdown to Twilight Princess on Gamecube

I e-mailed Nintendo, and they said TP GC is NOT in limited supply. They are making a lot of them. They might just be in high demand.

Also *rumor* has it TP GC might be released Dec. 6. But don't get your hopes up.

Re: Countdown to Twilight Princess on Gamecube

I can't wait.

This reminds me of watching the clock at work 30 minutes before going home. Those last 30 minutes seem like an eternity. Any other time, 30 minutes would be nothing. And as you watch that clock, you could swear that the hands are not moving, or they are moving backwards instead of forwards.

Agony, pure agony.

Re: Countdown to Twilight Princess on Gamecube

Just to let everyone know, Twilight Princess is the best game ever created. I am serious.

I've been playing it for the Wii, and it's the only game I've got so far for it. It's beautiful, and well worth the wait. You guys are in for a real treat, let me tell you.

You make it sound like it's going to suck for Gamecube. It's funny how the traditional controls have been perfectly fine up to this point.

Re: Countdown to Twilight Princess on Gamecube

Controls are overrated. Yeah, you can do all that neat stuff with the Wii controler, but to me that is not what makes the game.

Besides, TP was originally designed for the Gamecube, so a round of applause for that system.

Provided there were any Wii's in my town, I'd already be playing TP.... I'll proabably end up getting it for GC (initially anyways) unless some unforseen miracle occurs before then...

I always found trying to aim the bow in any 3D Zelda game a total pain in the ass.
I could not live with myself playing TP on the Gamecube, just knowing there was a better way to play.

I would have not minded two years ago, but this is now.
I'm also willing to bet, if any of you played TP on the Wii...You would dread going back.
