OOT for ds

I hope they put the clasic OOT on the nintendo ds. That would rock, who agrees?

Although I don't have a DS, it would be great ideal putting OoT on the DS.

That would be great, and I'd probably want it right away, but I doubt it would be worth it to buy two copies of the same game, even though it is the best N64 game ever (besides MM).

You said MM which means Majora's Mask but since I don't like that one as much as OoT I'm gonna say you're a megaman fan too YAY!

I have often wondered about having Ocarina of Time for DS, but I heavily doubt that will happen since it was already ported to Gamecube and Nintendo is moving on to new Zelda games such as Phantom Hourglass.

i wish they would put OoT on the Nintendo DS... my brother has one, and that would be the best game for long roadtrips. i doubt they will.. but they should.

Yeah that would be the best game for long rides on the DS. Well there is FF3 and Super Mario 64 DS also Mario Kart still that would probably be the best.

id get it... even tho i have like 3 copies of OoT.

Thing is, OoT was great. I love it to death. There is no reason to deny its greatness.

However, its had a good run and will always have a special place in our hearts.

But, the thing is. Nintendo needs to focus on NEW zelda games. Not old ones, even if they were one of the best games ever.

If nintendo keeps remaking a game for every freaking system they make, it will just be a waste of money.

You're very right. OoT has been stretched a bit too far.
MM, however... (*dreams on* - it'll never happen)

Anyway, there is no way they'll do this. It's already on the N64, GCN, and now you can but it got the Wii. Not to mention that there are way too many versions of the game out for the N64 an GCN.

nintendo is focusing on a ds game PH so a release of OOT on ds att some point would be great. imagine how good it would be if they did something like what they did to mario 64 on the ds for OOT. adding a couple of new dungeons and more sidequests etc. that would be great. although if they just did a port it would be a bit ridiculous as there are so many versions of OOT out already

I have four copies of OoT. I don't need another one. Nintendo: bring on the new stuff!

They could even do one for GBA, and remake it in classic GB style it rocks!

I think Nintendo should keep on focusing on new zelda games with a new adventure, I don't want to play OOT over and over again.

OOT DS would need to be very special. You wouldn't have the comfy analogue control the N64 or Gamecube pads provide and Super Mario 64 suffered a little because of that but then that game required precision jumping which the D pad just didn't provide.
What the DS has is carts that can store two times as much as a big N64 cart could (the biggest was Resident evil 2 at 512 MB), it can do cel shading, obviously the stylus and microphone and a internal clock.

As much as I think it would be great, I don't think OoT for the DS is a practical idea. It probably wouldn't work out, but then again, they remade Super Mario 64.
