Twilight Princess will most likely have a sequel

To those who don't believe...
It's pretty obvious that TP will have a sequel...

"The Legend of Zelda" --> "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link"
"The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past" --> "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening"
"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" --> "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask"
"The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" --> "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass"
"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" --> "???"

So, then again, it's pretty obvious...

I hope so, I really like the graphics style of TP.
And from what I've seen, the storyline looks awsome as well as everything else.
Roll on sequel!!!

ya I also have thought of this. Since they say(I don't know if it's true) that link won't fail in TP, then maybe perhaps in the sequel.

Why would link fail? Unless it's the last game in the series...no even then, heroes never fail in video games.

because hyrule will flooded by the gods and then Tww starts. You should read the tww prologue.
It won't explain everything but it will give you an idea of how it's going to be.

that is true, the sequel to TP could be like MM, tkaes place shortly after OOT, that way it would still be years before TWW. that way it would affect the storyline of all that flood stuff.

I hope that a sequel to Twilight Princess further uses the technology of the Wii, but in the same realistic style as Twilight Princess. I would like it to be like Majoras Mask was to Ocarina Of Time, more mysterious, and with a different overall feeling.

Oddly enough I don't want there to be a sequeal. It's going to be even more difficult to fill the shoes & expectations that Twilight Princess has made. Also the sequeals really haven't done all that wall. AoL & Majora's Mask are examples that while liked, are not as openly recieved as LoZ & OoT. Though I'll enjoy any Zelda game I play... except for maybe the CD-i versions but no one counts those.

Yeah, I'd like something like that.

Personally, I don't care about a game living up to or surpassing previous expectations. As long as it's a certain standard, regardless of comparison, I'm perfectly happy to be playing a new game.

oh whoops, i forgot about TWW. but in tww it says that the hero never appeared..so that doesnt mean he failed. IIRC, it says the hero came and vanquished the villian. and then, when the villain came back again, the hero never APPEARED, not that he failed.
So that doesn't mean he has to fail in TP's sequel, just that there has to be a time when Ganon comes back and Link doesn't.

Re: Twilight Princess will most likely have a sequel

Remember, legends spread by word of mouth can change over time. It very well could have been that the hero DID in fact appear, but failed. Then, by the time TWW comes around, because of variations in the stories and such, the legend has changed to say that the hero never appeared. Its a possibility, even if it IS a shot in the dark.

i agree. if it follows the pattern of being right after the first. then the story of TWW should still fit shouldnt it? if it is like a kinda of side story, not really affecting the main time line progression, then the hero that is suppose to not have appeared before TWW will still have not turned up, if that is what is suppose to have happened, i havent play TWW much so i dont really know the story.

Here's a whacky theory...

Maybe some bad guys trying to resurrect Ganondorf kill the would-be parents of Link.

Re: Twilight Princess will most likely have a sequel

it would appear as though TP has cleared up storyline gaps between OoT and WW, so the next one really should take place pretty far in the future.

Re: Twilight Princess will most likely have a sequel

After watching the ending I don't see how TP won't get a sequel. I doubt it will be the next Wii Zelda, though. They started developing it before E3 2005, and should be FAR beyond testing stage by now. I think.

Nope. It's going to be the last in its current form. Think LA->OoT.
