Possible spoiler- Next Zelda game

It has been stated that in the next Zelda game, the star of the game won't be Link, but Tingle.

Yes, they are planning a game featuring Tingle. They've given it a name and everything.
I can't remember if they're planning to release it in the U.S., though.

its something like tingle and the happy rupee land of the rose colored magic and happy rupees. or just Tingle RPG

It just wouldnt be LOZ, (like how Baldur's Gate just would be BG without Minsc). There is only one playble char for this series, to have anyone else as them wouldnt feel right.

I think I read somewhere that Tingle is fairly popular in Japan... which is why they're working on this game. I'd be surprised if this sees release in North American stores.

Doubt it will see release out of japan but i would probably pick a copy up if it did just to see if there any cameos made by other Zelda chars.

these tingle games have no relevance to the timeline whatsoever
they are mostly made up of fun little mini-games, and for the most part will only be released in japan
tingle only relly has relevance for japanese audiences who seem to like him, and have both the tingle RPG and soon to have tingle balloon fight; two games that should not and will not see the light of day on american shores.

I think you guys hit that right on the nose!

Tingle ruins everything about Zelda. Making that game come over to the U.S. or U.K. would ruin Zelda in so many ways... Zelda would be a critics gamefaq with Tingle's existance as a Zelda related title. The same thing goes for Tetra's Trackers.
