Possible spoiler- Next Zelda game

It has been stated that in the next Zelda game, the star of the game won't be Link, but Tingle.

Yes, they are planning a game featuring Tingle. They've given it a name and everything.
I can't remember if they're planning to release it in the U.S., though.

Eww. I refuse to buy that game no matter what. Legend of Zelda doesn't seem to go well if Link isn't the main character, let alone Tingle! Everyone hates him.... In America

It just wouldnt be LOZ, (like how Baldur's Gate just would be BG without Minsc). There is only one playble char for this series, to have anyone else as them wouldnt feel right.

I think I read somewhere that Tingle is fairly popular in Japan... which is why they're working on this game. I'd be surprised if this sees release in North American stores.

A bet the Tingle game will be full of crazy stuff!

Doubt it will see release out of japan but i would probably pick a copy up if it did just to see if there any cameos made by other Zelda chars.
