TP: $85 in Latin America, Wii... whooping $499!!!

GAHHHHH!!!!!!! Yes, you heard right. I was searching in some random sites, and it seems that this is the normal price of Wii here in Latin America.

And, TP does not costs $50, but rather a whoooping $85 dolars!

I´m a sad person right now. I don´t have a chance of getting thw Wii on lauch date, or even this month . Not to mention this year ... damn.

Well, if you´re reading this from Latin America, you should:

1. If you have lots of money, well, I envy you.
2. If not, wait until the cost lowers down.
3. Or, if you have familiy in the US or some familiar of yours goes to US, BUY IT THERE!!!

Well, enjoy your Wii TOMORROW, you US folks. I envy you! Gah!!! Well, I´ll get it some day, that is.

Mad Cucco, I am also from Mexico, the Wii will cost here from 4'500 to 5'000 pesos, go to any "Game Planet" or to a "El Palacio de Hierro", you have being fooled, to get a Wii and a TP you would need to have 5'000 pesos or 5'800 pesos, but trust me, the Wii won't exceed the 6'000 pesos.

I can understand how your annoyed at the prices. I have the same problem. TP is going to cost $110 New Zealand Dollars, Wii $500 NZ Dollars, Wii-Mote by itself, $99 dollars.

I'm blowing $704 come Dec 7th. ($468 US)

Yuh, I live in Mexico too but Imma go to the US and buy the wii and TP... some day near christmas/january. (OR get it at the flea market. O: )

lol, funny you saying that. You do realize America is the poorest country in the world right now? It's billions if not trillions of dollars in debt. It's only because pretty much the whole world runs off America and the American dollar.

I just think it's kinda suck, that we can't get products for the same price American...Annoying that we have to pay more.

US $250 = $376 NZ. I would not mind paying $399 for a Wii. $499 seems crazy, but I'm buying it anyway.

My god! 499 dollars? I feel sorry for you. In Canada it will only cost 279 dollars. Only 29 dollars more than what it will cost in america. It won't make a big diffrence at all.

in chile it will cost 250.000 pesos and there are like those 499

Well, I still have a little hope to, well, convince my parents of helping me with the extra $200 that I need, with some "reasonable" excuse, like giving my Christmass and birthday gifts for advanced. And, besides I´m not sure if I will find a Wii early on, if they haven´t dissapeared yet, that is.

I can´t believe that tomorrow I´ll see posts saying "I have a closed TP box in my hand and a Wii in the other right now while typing with my nose!!!" kind of things (I intended to post that, but now I cant...). Gah!

Well, the countdown was still worth it, as some will actualy be blessed with TP tomorrow. Well, that´ll be the definitive "bye´bye ZU" day. See you tomorrow! Can you believe this is happening!?

well actually here in Panama the wii is only $300 where i'm buying it..or maybe thats just because we use american dollars here...oh well. i feel sorry for people who live in countries where the wii is alot of money!

I feel sorry for you guys. Its only $50 in America.
Then again most games in America start around $50.

I only have to pay $400 for my Wii. And my TP is already $70 payed off from game trade-ins. And I already have 30 bucks to pay the game off. Then I just need to pay the other $400 for the Wii and getting the money from my mum, dad and other people.

6 and a half days to go!!

I can manage, with Christmas coming up and all! Things will run my way!
