My Dilemma...
I've been planning on getting wii and TP tomorrow for as long as I can remember but with recent reviews (of TP and other games) have kinda been putting second thoughts in my mind with the system...
Now I'm considering just getting TP for the gamecube instead (isn't everything going to be identical besides the "revolutionary" controls anyway?) and saving my 360 since I was going to trade that in and use the cash to get a Wii. Also I only planned on getting the Wii just for Zelda too. So now I'm not sure about what to do and tomorrow is the big day (for the Wii version anyway)! Please help me out, thanks!! |

Re: My Dilemma...
^ Well, people are already waiting in line to get the Wii. You might be too late (it all depends though).
Either version is probably fine. However, from what everyone is saying about the controls for the Wii version; it appears as though the Wii controller fits TP perfectly. You could just wait three or so weeks to get the GC version; but it's entirely up to you. You better make up your mind quick though. People are starting or have already been waiting in line to get the Wii. What's the point of buying Wii TP if you have to Wii to play it on?

Re: My Dilemma...
True GTA, but I won't be online with the Wii ever...I'm not into the whole online craze for platform video games.
I know people are lining up already but I think I'd have a good chance if I wake up early tomorrow to go get it (if I've made up my mind), I don't think the demand will be nearly as high as the PS3 plus Nintendo has shipped out sooo much more units. Also I'm in St. Louis and plan on going to my local Slackers store to pick it up (if not there B Buy, Circuit City, Walmart, ect) so I'm not worried about availability. I'm worried about shelling out 300 dollars or more for what I think is going to be the same game to come out for the Gamecube 2-3 weeks later...this is hard Also do any of you know if the Wii version will always be in widescreen (ie the black bars always on the screen?) because I don't have a widescreen TV. |

Re: My Dilemma...
I'm pretty positive the wide-screen is optional for the Wii version (It wouldn't necessarily be the best for the sales for TP if Nintendo only made it for wide-screen televisions).

Re: My Dilemma...
I say definately get a Wii and that version for various reasons. 1 it has superior controls according to reviews. 2 a lot of good games should be coming out for it soon like Mario, SSB and probably in a few years another Zelda. 3 you will get to play TP sooner rather than waiting for the GC version.
